It makes perfect progressive sense. Globull Warming causing globull cooling and warming except when it is cooling and violence caused by globull warming when it is cooling and warming. Give me my government check please for that explanation.

  5. Bob Knows says:

Progressive politicians increase poverty, poor government dependent losers, and thus gang violence. Progressive politicians get elected by pretending to “fix” the problems they create. Progressive media and “education” is also at fault.

  6. Hugh K says:

“Experts Say That Global Warming Increases Gun Violence” — I expect the alarmists to actually run with that comparison. It’s a nice deflection from the reality of gun restrictions on law-abiding citizens increase gun violence.

  7. John B., M.D. says:

Basically, when winter is over, and the gang members head outside, trouble ensues. Same thing happens during heat waves esp. for those who have no air conditioning. Violence will happen whether or not global warming exists. And higher electricity rates brought on by the green agenda will only hurt the poor and disadvantaged further, not to mention the job-killing economic and tax policies in IL. House (and career politician) Speaker Madigan wields the real power, not Gov. Quinn. My electricity rates (Cook County, IL) just went up 44.3%, effective with the May 2014 meter read.

It got really hot here a quite a few times in the past decade, and not one of my neighbors decided to pop a cap any anyone else’s ass. In fact aside from a mentally ill man shooting his own father about 5 years ago, we have not had a single homicide in this county for over 10 years.

      It ain’t the heat.

      • James the Elder says:

If it was the heat, the Mid-Atlantic would lose half its population in July and August. However, 99F and 99% humidity does make one a little edgy.

  8. David says:

It must have really hot during the prohibition years…look at all the violence then
