      That’s funny! Kiwis would die rather than take out Aussie citizenship, and Australia’s only goal in rugby is to beat the All Blacks. NZ are the best, no doubt about it, but I love it when the Wallabies beat them ( all to rare).
      Australia and NZ are mates but the chance of us ever becoming a single country is about the same as England and Ireland joining up, and we all know what happened there. Go Wallabies!!!

    After 1707 Scotland became North Britain hence the North British Hotel in Edinburgh.

    When Andy Murray loses a Grand Slam final he is Scottish, when he wins he’s British/English, same applies to Gareth Bale and Wales.

    It is technically more accurate to call Gareth Bale English than it is to call Andy Murray English, though I probably wouldn’t say it to his face.

      I don’t think Wales ever agreed to being part of England, just as they weren’t that chuffed with the banning of the Welsh language.
