IPCC Switches Their Story, Shoots Themselves In The Foot

Today, the IPCC says greenhouse gases have accelerated to unprecedented levels and are going to overheat the atmosphere and kill us all.

A rapid shift to less-polluting energy will be needed to avoid catastrophic global warming because global emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases have accelerated to unprecedented levels, the United Nations reports today.

Five months ago, the story was the exact opposite. The lack of global warming was due to a slowdown in greenhouse gas buildup.

Climate deniers like to point to the so-called global warming “hiatus” as evidence that humans aren’t changing the climate. But according a new study, exactly the opposite is true: The recent slowdown in global temperature increases is partially the result of one of the few successful international crackdowns on greenhouse gases

The real story is that greenhouse gases continue to increase, while temperatures continue to decrease. Indicating that their theory is broken.

This madness is being driven by people completely devoid of integrity.

It doesn’t make any difference how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is. If it disagrees with experiment, it’s wrong. That’s all there is to it.

They depend on the sheeple having the attention span of a goldfish. Luckily too many people have woken up to their scam. Keep up the fight Steven.

  2. Leon0112 says:

Better correlation between plant growth and CO2 levels than temperature and CO2 levels. IPCC predictions of collapse of food production are baffling to me.

    • Gail Combs says:

The new con-game ‘Collapse of Food Production’ allows the corporations to jack up the prices and make a killing from starving babies. They have already done so.

There is a major landgrab going on in all countries as the wealthy and corporations buy up land. (You can google land grab and Rothschild)

Thanks to the WTO and ‘Harmonization’ there are now laws in the EU, Canada and now the USA regulating farming including the tomato in your garden.

Ignorance about the law’s broad reach (and how it will be construed by the courts) has thwarted opposition to the bill, which will likely pass Congress. For example, a newspaper claims the bill “doesn’t regulate home gardens.” The newspaper probably assumed that was true because the bill, like most federal laws, only purports to reach activities that affect “interstate commerce.” To an uninformed layperson or journalist, that “sounds as if it might not reach local and mom-and-pop operators at all.”

But lawyers familiar with our capricious legal system know better. The Supreme Court ruled in Wickard v. Filburn (1942) that even home gardens (in that case, a farmer’s growing wheat for his own consumption) are subject to federal laws that regulate interstate commerce. Economists and scholars have criticized this decision, but it continues to be cited and followed in Supreme Court rulings, such as those applying federal anti-drug laws to consumption of even home-grown medical marijuana. Indeed, many court decisions allow Congress to define as “interstate commerce” even non-commercial conduct that doesn’t cross state lines — something directly at odds with Rep. DeLauro’s claims.

And if their theory is right. Temperatures should be increasing even if CO2 were stable at 2000 levels.
They clearly don’t know what they are talking about.

  4. Mkelley says:

Feynman’s great comment is kind of quaint in our time of big government and lefty foundations dictating the direction (and results) of research. The “science” that is practiced these days is a whole different critter.

  5. Dave N says:

“It doesn’t make any difference how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is. If it disagrees with experiment, it’s wrong. That’s all there is to it.”

..or how much money they receive, or from where, or whether they have qualifications and/or years of experience or none at all; all those arguments are ad hominem.

That’s the beauty of science and truth: it is purely agnostic.
