The thermometer data that NCDC uses shows the exact opposite – New Hampshire is actually cooling.

If we believed the NCDC, the early 1900’s must have been decades without summers!

  2. emsnews says:

I live in the upstate NY area near Vermont. It has been one of the longest winters, ever, with lots and lots of below zero nights and even some days! So this report fools no one, the point is to keep this fraud going so people forget which winter was the winter from hell.

That’s a record, 3 degrees and no Diana Ross!

  4. Jason Calley says:

I can just imagine the NCDC response to anyone questioning their adjustments. “Well, of course we have to adjust for known errors — but in point of fact, the average adjustment for the last 25 years has actually brought the temperatures DOWN from the raw data!”

That is true, too. And very misleading.

  5. Andy DC says:

They are disgusting and have lost any pretense of having the high moral ground. MSNBC spent a whole hour last night wringing their hands about greedy big oil and how we must leave the remaining fossil fuels in the ground. All over a fraudulent pretext, that weather has gotten so much worse, which it has not.

  6. philjourdan says:

Adjusting data to match the models.

  7. Hugh K says:

But…but…the NCDC had the best of intentions. And isn’t that what’s really important as energy costs “necessarily skyrocket”?

FWIW – Gas prices averaged $1.88/gallon in the US when Obama took office…

I have lived in southern New Hampshire a quarter century, and have loved in New England much of my 60+ years. This is one of the coldest and latest springs I can remember. The swamp maples are barely budding, and it is nearly May! The warm-weather fish (bass and sunfish) aren’t even biting for the kids during their April Vacation.

You can adjust the graphs, but you can’t adjust the outdoors.
