The most effective way to end worrisome climate change, is to elect honest politicians – and cut off the funding to the liars and scumbags propagating this scam.

Good luck in finding these mythical “honest politicians.”

      Unfortunately I agree.

If you find an “honest” politician the Elite send in there MSM attack dogs.

Ron Paul and Herman Cain come to mind.

After all by the time someone is 35 years old there are plenty of women (men) who he(she) has met who will lie if the money is good.

Interesting that Ginger White the accuser of Herman Cain, is now writing a book. Books or privately held Consulting businesses are a great way to hide pay-offs.

Think of old Patchy (IPCC) and his bodice rippers.

“Honest politicians” is perhaps the biggest oxymoron ever coined.

To appeal to the greatest number, one has to say things that appeal to the greatest number; which means saying as little as possible while speaking a great deal, and steering as far from the truth as possible. This problem isn’t going to be voted away.

Solution For Climate Change: finding the courage to do nothing. 🙂

It does makes sense for governments – national, state, local – to develop plans in case of emergencies. It’s prudent to have plans for disasters, natural or human-made. But all plans and implementations need to be based on facts of reality. It makes no sense to hose down a house that isn’t on fire.

I’ve thought about this a lot, and currently think the problem with politicians, being only too human, is Noble Cause Corruption. I don’t believe most politicians start out dishonest and corrupt. I believe they simply come to realise that dishonesty is the fastest way to get ahead in the game; with the intention, of course, of doing good deeds once they are at the top.

And as the great Milton Friedman was fond of saying: there’s a famous road paved with good intentions.

The other side of the coin is the (on average) stupid, ignorant electorate, which seems happy to be spoon-fed the politicians’ bullshit. So you could say we get the politicians we deserve. What is the answer? I’m fucked if I know.

Unfortunately there really are Sociopaths and if they are smart they can rise very very high.

I have had the unfortunate experience of knowing a couple. One is my brother, now a multimillionaire and not someone you would ever want to cross. Thank goodness he never went into politics. However he is EXACTLY the type of person who ends up in positions of power in industry and in politics. As the saying goes, the good guy finishes last and the solid material rises to the top in the septic tank. DC is a septic tank.
