Reggie has his blowtorch packed and is ready to go.

    • Shazaam says:

Any word on the rowing team making another go at it?

I mean, with Reggie at their back, they have every incentive to move forward swiftly!!

  2. Truthseeker says:

So, is Al Gore a prophet or a profit?

  3. gator69 says:

I’m more interested in what Tipper has to say.

    • Gail Combs says:

She is not saying much of anything. She is too busy dating Bill Allen, the former editor-in-chief of National Geographic. (No wonder the rag is no better than the National Enquirer.)

  4. alakhtal says:

I was all my life GREEN until Al GORE took the helm. Cold, global warming, hurricanes, earthquakes are HAARPed. Now deadly Stillaguamish River Valley mudslides were triggered by overlogging. The whole world moved to renewable except rural Washington State still mining forests for trouble.
As their founding forefathers did when they occupied the New World 5 centuries ago, there were 100 million Buffaloes, gazillions of edible fowls and 10 trillion salmon in America now their broods importing Monsanto fed GMO beef from New Zealand and Cloned Salmon from Chile.

  5. Snow White says:

“Some of the models suggest that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap during some of the summer months will be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years,” Gore said in 2009.

There’s still plenty of time left for some of the models to be proved 75% correct!

    • philjourdan says:

Idiot. That is not “proved” anything. That means they got it close. Close enough for government work, but nothing to do with science.

      • Snow White says:

Phil – It strikes me as being sufficient proof that “Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Al Gore” didn’t actually say words to the effect that “the 16 foot thick ice in the Beaufort Sea will all melt in the next few weeks.”

        • Wyguy says:

No wonder it still feels like Winter, Snow White is back.

        • philjourdan says:

I am sure you still think that chakra algore is correct. However, it actually proves the opposite. It shows he is 75% wrong. That is not an absolute – as you would like to make it on the other side, but it is damning. I would take those odds.

Besides, Gore did not say weeks, he made a “prediction” several years ago. Which as everyone knows is just junk. Pretty much like your sources.

    • stewart pid says:

Spin spin spin …. anyone with a half of a brain would know when to fold them and give up a fight that is lost but the greentards double down with the bullshit and chicken little fear mongering!

    • Jl says:

“Some models suggest.” I love that – so very scientific. Some do, others don’t.

    • BruceC says:

I think Snow White has been hanging around Dopey for too long.

    • BruceC says:

There’s still plenty of time left for some of the models to be proved 75% correct!

There’s still plenty of time left for all of the models to be proved 100% incorrect!

  6. Dmh says:

Solar radiations are not helping much this year, a bit above what I expected, but even so if they continue at the levels of March and the first days of this month, I’m confident that the ice extent at the end of the summer will be at least as large as 2013.
If the radiations decline, we will probably have more than 2005/06.

  7. Soylent green says:

Ah, Jokenhagen. Those were the days. Obama being locked out by the Chinese. Phelim McAleer in a polar bear suit. You can’t beat the classics.

    • Gail Combs says:

Don’t worry I hear the Chinese and Russians are doing a replay only this time they are locking Obummer out of using USDollars for trade.

      • Shazaam says:

That will not end well at all. Period.

The Laughingstock-in-Chief might well learn why one does not poke a bear in the face with a stick. The hard way.

        • Gail Combs says:

Just as long as Putin goes for Obummer and the idiots in charge of the EU and not the rest of us. Of course the Russians have had a bit of practice. Unlike the bankster backed politicians they go for the throat instead of sacrificing pawns. Poisoning Stalin (And FDR?)

  8. On January 26, 2006, Algore predicted in 10 years the Earth would be scorched to a cinder, because of global warming. Well, for the last 17 years and 4 months the warming has disappeared.

Now, Algore is predicting an ice-free Arctic in 20 weeks. Meanwhile, the Antarctic is at record ice extent and has been getting colder for the last 30 years.

I just can’t get enough of these brainless predictions from the elitist fearmongers and Hollywood types. Can you?

    • Gail Combs says:

If they keep blathering insanities sooner or later the Sheeple will notice it does not match reality…. At least I hope so.

  9. Justa Joe says:

Show me an AGW preciction, and I’ll show you a failed prediction.

    • Gail Combs says:

Unfortunately the predictions make headlines in rags such as Huff’NPuff and since the rank and file progressives have an attention span that makes my sheep look like Einsteins, they have completely forgotten the prediction by the next day and are frothing at the mouth about the next hysterical headline.

Later the puppet masters then erase and change history to deny they ever said anything idiotic just in case there are one or two who actually have a memory. The 1970 Global Cooling scare is a classic example.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” ~ H. L. Mencken

  10. Brian H says:

The Nobel Peace Prize has nothing to do with science; it is a lefty political award. It is awarded by a completely different body than the Science awards.
