Now let’s look at ice core data, where recent warming is completely invisible in a background of 14C temperature swings.

In order to prove that CO2 raises temperature, lets do a study using CO2 as a proxy for temperature. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

No, “Slim” was gone as early as 1979. My 2010 Venus/Earth temperatures comparison definitively disproved the consensus “greenhouse effect” theory of global warming, and I used Venus data obtained in 1991 by the Magellan spacecraft. But there is even earlier Venus data, obtained by the Pioneer Venus Orbiter in 1979 (as given in Fig. 4 of “Radio Occultation Studies of the Venus Atmosphere with the Magellan Spacecraft”, Jenkins et al., 1994), that agrees with the 1991 data, and just as easily confirms the Standard Atmosphere for Earth’s troposphere and disproves the greenhouse effect. So the real science was stillborn 35 years ago, with the neglect of the Standard Atmosphere in favor of an atmosphere falsely imagined to be balanced on the razor’s edge of “radiative forcings”, and there have been no competent climate scientists since then.
I thought Climate Science was shot and buried in 1972 at the First Earth Summit.
