  1. Brian G Valentine says:

I just want snow on Earth Day in Cleveland.

  2. omanuel says:

Thank you, Steven, for confronting tyrannical world leaders with a dose of reality.

The Pulitzer committee has awarded American journalism’s highest honor to Britain’s The Guardian and to The Washington Post for their ongoing coverage of Snowden’s bombshell revelation of the scope of domestic and international U.S. government spying:

This is an encouraging indication that sixty-eight years of tyrannical rule by frightened bullies is coming to an end, as noted here:

  3. John F. Hultquist says:

My sister lives there — and she is not happy!

  4. tom0mason says:

Those editors just can not believe their own lying eyes.

  5. Gail Combs says:

I wonder how many angry letters the editors are NOT going to print.

Cleveland is in Ohio, northern Ohio, which is going to be the hardest hit of all the states by Obummers War on Coal link

Not only is Ohio looking at possible blackouts in the next few years they are also looking at the highest energy prices. As Obama Promised: Energy Prices to Soon Skyrocket

Obama’s war on coal hits your electric bill
The market-clearing price for new 2015 capacity – almost all natural gas – was $136 per megawatt. That’s eight times higher than the price for 2012, which was just $16 per megawatt. In the mid-Atlantic area covering New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and DC the new price is $167 per megawatt. For the northern Ohio territory served by FirstEnergy, the price is a shocking $357 per megawatt…. These are not computer models or projections or estimates. These are the actual prices that electric distributors have agreed to pay for new capacity. The costs will be passed on to consumers at the retail level.

    ……………….
John F. Hultquist, you might want to warn your sister. She needs to get out of that area ASAP before the value of her home is the same as that of a home in Detroit and there are no jobs left.

I doubt if any companies relocating out of Ohio will bother to stay in the USA either. Much more sensible to move to a lower cost country.

    • Shazaam says:

Low on the north coast is expected to be 19 deg F tonight.

There is a good reason the PD is nearly a dead newspaper walking.

  6. D. Self says:

Detroit just broke it’s All Time winter snow record this morning. Let me rephrase this like a true scientist: Detroit just had it’s snowiest winter since record keeping began in 1880.

  7. Psalmon says:

Ohio gets 70 percent of it’s electricity from Coal. 5th highest in the country.

  8. ccglea says:

Here in South West Ohio, we had 2 inches of snow this morning to add to an already record snow fall. Todays high will be a record low high (ist that the right term) and tonights predicted low will tie the record low. We will have a hard freeze today and tomorrow. This of course is all weather right?

  9. Andy DC says:

The global warming movement is like a chicken with its head cut off. Still running around despite the fact it is dead.

  10. “Human-caused global warming can be checked if we act now”
& yet none of them stopped using electricity or buying items shipped from China. I guess they don’t think it’s all that important.

  11. tomB says:

In Wisconsin we have had snow on the ground in each of the last 6 months including today . Milwaukee journal sentinel also editorialized on the evils of global warming. I vote yes for global warming wish it really was true

  12. omanuel says:

Puppetmasters are now “caught in a web of their own making, sixty-eight years earlier”, despite many philosophical and religious warnings:

“Oh what a tangled web we weave
When first we practiced to deceive!”

    “Truth is victorious, never untruth!”

The Puppetmaster, captain of a spaceship, decided in 1945 to take total control of society by deceiving the passengers and most members of the crew about the spaceship’s fuel.

But LIFE, FOOD, FUEL and ENERGY are inseparable because life is an energy consuming process.

Sixty-eight years later, passengers and crew members realize that the captain is crazy: Spaceship and it’s passengers are in grave danger.

But leaders of the crew cannot admit their part in the deception by openly addressing nine pages (pp. 19-27) of precise experimental data that expose this deceitunless offered immunity from prosecution.

Such an offer would, in my opinion, now be in the best interest of all of the passengers, including both sides of the aisle.
