The Wit And Wisdom Of Al Gore

During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet.

A president who breaks the law is a threat to the very structure of our government.

When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler.

I think the cost of energy will come down when we make this transition to renewable energy.

I take no pleasure in the fact that the scientific predictions I’ve relayed to popular audiences turn out to be true.

He’s a budding Socrates or Plato
or should that be Pluto the dog ?

Brilliant! Pluto took one science class at Yale. It was Earth Science and he received a “C”. AND a noble prize in science. I am not surprised that the propaganda ministers out in hillywould awarded him an academy award but the Nobel Committee should be stripped of their responsibilities after the truth inconveniently came out about Gore’s fictional documentary. At the very least they should ask for their medallion back.

      • AndyG55 says:

That was Nobel Peace Prize…. a VERY poor knock-off of the real Nobel Prize.

You just have to look at some of the people who have got this meaningless piece of junk metal.

Yes, right there on the list with Yassar Arafat.

“You just have to look at some of the people who have got this meaningless piece of junk metal.”

Yeah, it is a darned shame how low the Nobel Committee has fallen in their choices. I suspect that any institution that lasts long enough eventually becomes the exact opposite if what its founders envisioned.

    • Pluto. Mental midgetry on a world stage.

And if you have neither a scientific nor legal education, grow a beard, wear plaid flannel, and weigh 300#. That’ll pile on the credibility.

I’m new to Real Science and need some help. Monkton in 2011 explained that climate feedbacks have not and will not exceed 0.1. What is the status on his argument?
    copy/paste
A loop gain of 0.1, then, is in practice the upper bound for very-long-term climate stability. Yet the loop gain values implicit in the IPCC’s global-warming projections of 3.26[2, 4.5] K warming in response to a CO2 doubling are well above this maximum, at 0.64

The one I will remember most when caught soliciting campaign contributions using the phones of the WH.
“There is no controlling legal authority that says this was in violation of law.”
or something like that. Anyway it was a preview of exactly what we have now.

    Watch out for this one…

I was gratified that the author took the time to sort out the facts rather than knee jerk to climate change…She’s been fired by now.
