Weather Channel Forecast

The Weather Channel may be incompetent at forecasting the weather next week, but they say they can prevent future bad weather via propaganda and brainwashing.

The meteorologist/script reader may have been reading a ‘forecast’ which had been prepared months or weeks in advance. To be so wrong in one week stretches the bounds of credulity to the breaking point.

My distrust of so-called weather experts has intensified since the ubiquitous fiery-red weather map color scam over the last year or so.

The independent Guardian placed meteorologist Kait Parker among four weather presenters lauded for their extreme climate doom mongering.

And yet, if any single one of us called for the re-education of liberals on the topic of climate science so that they could take action against promoters of runaway global warming, can anyone guess what variety of labels we’d receive for the mere suggestion of it?

I like to watch the Weather Channel for Highway Through Hell and Heavy Rescue 401. Those heavy rescue operators must have antifreeze for blood. It seems strange for the channel to show programming that shows just how bad winter can be given their almost religious ideology of global warming. Those two shows make me glad I live in Arkansas even though tomorrow morning the low is predicted to be 7 F above zero. Well, I guess that beats blizzards. I have natural gas space heaters so I will stay warm even through a power failure. Yesterday, across the White River, the town of Oil Trough (yes, that’s a real town) was without power all day because of severe storms the night before. The temperature starting dropping like a rock after the storms passed so those with central heat would have felt the temperature dropping in their homes all day. That’s why I like my space heaters.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch. Texas’ famous wind generation which froze in 2021 is predicted to provide little energy during the mornings the next few days due to LACK OF WIND and before the sunrise when solar generation can reach any level to contribute (if it doesn’t turn overcast).
ERCOT gets blamed when there are power interruptions but the real culprits are the grifting polititions (mostly lawyers – not STEM types) who have allowed the shift to unreliable “renewable” power generation.
20% of TX power is from these unreliables and ERCOT can only control what is available.

Here at my central Indiana home I’ve been watching the forecast temps on my phone weather app drop. Now as I write this it shows no precipitation while we’re getting accumulating snow.

Highly recommend you all watch Joe Bastardi’s Saturday Summary video.
The meat starts at the 01;25 mark of the video.

  7. Steve says:

Some dingaling malarky purveyor posted something on Facebook pointing out how global warming at the ice caps is causing this extreme weather at lower parallels by NOT holding that weather up there like it would if things were colder…yah. Rught.

  8. Paul James says:

And the FEDS want to spend hundreds of millions on predicting the weather two years out.
Try getting 2 weeks in advance right first.

But I do wonder how much of this cold blast is from Nature & how much is being engineered?
Back in 1997, the USAF put out a White Paper saying that by 2025, they’d own the weather.
Maybe they’re a couple years ahead of schedule?
