Huffington Post Doesn’t Want You To Know About This Storm

I pointed out that New York had a much bigger storm two centuries ago, and Huffington Post quickly deleted it. This is information which the public is not entitled to know, because it wrecks the basis of the global warming religion.

In 1821, stunned colonial New Yorkers recorded sea levels rising as fast as 13 feet in a single hour at the Battery. The East River and Hudson Rivers merged over Lower Manhattan all the way to Canal Street. According to Coch, the fact that the 1821 storm struck at low tide “is the only thing that saved the city.”

In the event of a direct hit by a category-3 hurricane, surge maps show that the Holland and Battery Tunnels will be completely filled with sea water, with many subway and railroad tunnels severely flooded as well. The runways of LaGuardia and JFK airports will get flooded by 18.1 and 31.2 feet of water, respectively.

Only the left works to rewrite history. And that is because it is impossible to foist the oldest and most failed form of government on the masses, if they know history.

I have had my posts censored at HP before. I was always polite, pointing out flaws and inconsistencies in statements and linking to real (inconvenient) data from sites like NOAA or Ryan Maue or WFT. When I did get one through, I would get a fusillade of links to Skeptical Science and Real Climate with the Denier/ignorant/flat earther/Big Oil/97% of real climate scientists/Scientific Society policy statements etc… thrown in for good measure.

I see the same gate keepers camped out there, ready to shout you down, even as infrequently as I visit. I hardly go back anymore because it takes time and effort to make an informed post only to have it blocked or buried under an avalanche of misinformation that would take more time to debunk than it’s worth. The religious-left, knee-jerk, self-righteous, mouth frothing ignoramuses that inhabit that swamp won’t really read or look at the links anyway. See-no-evil, hear-no-evil, speak-no-evil. I don’t go there much anymore, only just to check in to see what the propaganda machine is currently up to. However, nothing ever changes.

That pretty well sums it up. I won’t even waste my time there, one doesn’t even need to go there to know what’s being said.

Remember the left’s favorite hobby is burning books.
Why should they let a little true facts get in the way of a great theory?
