Three thousand years ago, primitive people believed floods, droughts, storms and plagues were caused by man’s sin, and that sacrifice was required to improve the weather. A great prophet was needed to part the seas.

Three thousand years later, we are much more sophisticated. We believe that floods, droughts, storms and plagues are caused by man’s sin, and sacrifice is required to improve the weather. A great prophet is needed to part the seas.

  1. The Ol' sea dog. says:

Of course, Obama is a Muslim. That means he can lie as much as he likes , ‘cos he is lying to non-muslims…..

  2. kbray in california says:

Moses had to stroke his staff.
Obama only has to stroke his pen.
    Technology must be helping.

  3. gator69 says:

I think you have the roles mixed up. Pharoah Obama has enslaved us and brought about the 10 plagues…

    #1 Michelle
    #2 Czars
    #3 Rice
    #4 Flies
    #5 Obamacare
    #6 Incurable liars
#7 Man Made Hail and thunder
    #8 Volts
    #9 Cash for Clunkers
#10 Death of the liberty of all American humans. To be saved, the Patriots had to hide their guns and pocket constitutions well in their houses

    • Robertv says:

Do we have a Moses ?

      • gator69 says:

We have the founding document, our own version of the 10 commandments. We just need a champion. IMHO, right now I like Rand Paul.

      • Andy DC says:

It only took one sip of water for the liberal media to destroy Rubio. They will probably do same to Rand Paul if he dares to blow his nose.

      • gator69 says:

I agree the leftist (not liberal) media will of course have their knives out for anyone who opposes their agenda. The question then is wether or not they will still be relevant to your average American, after the Hari-kari they have done on their own credibility.

It’s up to us to educate our neighbors and relatives, and show them who is really on their side. I know very few people (outside of DC) who are against individual liberty.

    • tckev says:

8 Volts? They made that many?
Bet half of them half worked and the other 50% caught fire.

  4. pyeatte says:

Weather and crop failures was one of the reasons we blamed and burned witches at the stake in Salem, Ma.

  5. 2rja says:

The point being that we are being played for fools in the belief that we need to “ruled” and we should not determine our own destiny. With a more secular population the need to enforce compliance through guilt as religions past did, allows for rulers not leaders. A ruling class be upon us. Without guilt they have nothing to hold over our heads to hold power over our lives. Obama care will rule every aspect of your life in no time, all in the name of saving the system money.

  6. Ben says:

RE: “America this is our moment, this is our time… that I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children the was the moment when the rise of the oceans”…

…of debt became untenable. We really effed it up spending money on endless boogeymen, and for no justifiable reason, we instituted generational financial slavery.

    Sorry kids…
