Earlier this year I caught NSIDC making huge areas of five year old ice disappear overnight. They are back for more, claiming that Nuuk, Greenland hit 75 degrees in June.

This is total nonsense. The official GHCN temperature on June 9 in Nuuk was 67 degrees, not 75 degrees – and barely warmer than 1965.

But it gets worse, NSIDC claimed three big melting spikes going up to 40% of Greenland’s area melting.

This also looks like BS. DMI shows no day above 30% melting.

Greenland melting has been below the 1990-2013 mean almost every day since mid-May, yet the fraudsters at NSIDC claim near record melting is going on.

The graph below overlays the NSIDC data in red on the DMI data in blue. They agreed until June, when the NSIDC spikes went up 50% higher than DMI.

There is no indication that Greenland is melting down. Surface mass gain is above normal – at 500 billion tons of new ice since last August.

NSIDC is run by Mark “Arctic Screaming Death Spiral” Serreze, who predicted the North Pole would be ice-free in 2008.

There are three large glaciers which flow to the sea in Northwest Greenland. This one is growing.

The third one has been too cloudy to get a good look at yet.

The usual cast of scamsters are pushing the “record Greenland melting” scam.

Greenland melting has been just about normal this year, and the amount of ice accumulated since August is above normal.

The record Greenland melt is not happening, and your tax dollars are being used for government funded scientists to lie about it. There is not the slightest indication that anything significant is going on with Greenland’s climate.

The Arctic Basin is starting to see some melting around the edges.

Cold temperatures over the Beaufort Sea will likely keep the melt rate slow over the next two weeks.

The melt season north of 80N is about one-fourth over, with temperatures persistently below normal, and just above freezing.

Climate experts have been claiming that Greenland is seeing record surface melting this year, but they are lying. Greenland has gained more ice mass than normal since September.

I have been pointing out for some time that DMI Arctic sea ice graphs don’t match their maps, and now they have fixed their graphs. The imaginary rapid melt from mid-May to mid-June which they showed previously, has disappeared.

This wasn’t always the case. Eighty years ago the glaciers of Eastern Greenland faced catastrophic collapse.

Snow falls in the interior  of Greenland, turns to ice, and flows to the sea in rivers of ice known as glaciers. When it gets to the sea, it calves off as icebergs. It has nothing to do with global warming, and no legitimate scientist would try to claim that it did.

Four people died in West Virginia flooding after eight inches of rain in 24 hours. Scientists declared this to be a global warming induced apocalypse.

According to the National Weather Service Office, the 24-hour rainfall there was 8.17 inches.

The US record for 24 hour rainfall is 43 inches set in 1979 – more than 500% of what was received in West Virginia this week. All US short term rainfall records were set when CO2 was below 350 PPM.
