Scientists depend on grant money for their research. In order to get grant money many have to say things that scare people. This frequently involves just making stuff up.

In the case of climate science almost everything they say is made up. If they said “everything is OK” no one would give them any money. There has to be a problem to “solve” – as if these clueless hacks have any control over the climate.

NOAA and NASA have completely erased a rapid 1930-1980 cooling trend at Vestmannaeyja, Iceland.

The image below shows how they not only erased the trend, but actually made the spike disappear from 1926 to 1929.

They have lost all most of the data from 1927 to 1929.

The 1927-1929 data was present in their 2011 data set. Where did it go?

Even worse, NOAA has lost all of the data prior to 1949, as they have with most of the stations in Greenland and Iceland.

The cooling was very real. In 1973, scientists reported that the sea ice around Iceland was as bad as the Little Ice Age.

NOAA and NASA have no scientific basis for their data tampering. It is straight up fraud, in pursuit of an agenda.

Like with most stations in the Eastern Arctic, NASA and NOAA have “removed the 1940’s blip at Teigarhorn, Iceland.

But what they did at Teigarhorn was particularly disturbing. The simply deducted 1.0C from all 1900 to 1960 temperatures.

In Climategate E-mails, they made their plans clear. They intended to “remove at least part of the 1940s blip.”

So, if we could reduce the ocean blip by, say, 0.15 degC,
then this would be significant for the global mean — but

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

Climate science is a political venture intended to defraud the public. It is not a science.

Short memory is the key to maintaining climate alarm. The climate of the Northeast US has gotten much better over time. Prior to 1970, they were in drought most of the time. Droughts are rare there now.

The frequency of hot days in the Northeast has also declined considerably since the 1930’s. One notable exception was the very hot summer of 1988, when NASA’s James Hansen gave his 100% clueless testimony to Congress, and unleashed decades of mass stupidity on politicians and the press.

Arctic temperatures plummeted over the next thirty years, and then began a warming cycle again. Rather than admitting that Arctic weather is cyclical and that there is no catastrophe at hand, scientists at NASA simply erased the earlier warmth – and began the scam again.
