NOAA is determined to make 2012 the hottest year ever, no matter how much cheating is required.

Thermometers show that 2012 is the third warmest year in US history, after 1934 and 1921. But that story just isn’t going to scare anyone into forking over their hard earned money, so NOAA has massively cooled the past and warmed the present.

USHCN literature claims that adjustments go flat after 1990, but their actual adjustments increase exponentially. They are adding on an additional 0.6 degrees since 1990, which has no justification, and is plain and simple fraud. The total adjustment since the early 20th century is almost two degrees.

• 1998. We are saving the planet from global warming
• 2005. Global warming isn’t happening – but it will later. We must fudge the truth to keep the momentum going
• 2012. It just isn’t happening, but we have lost our integrity from incessantly lying over the last decade, and now it is all about protecting ourselves. Screw the rest of the world.

Richard Hendrickson, a Bridgehampton resident who turned 100 in September, warned the Southampton Town board Tuesday that global warming was real, and that “the Atlantic in time will creep up and take a majority of what we enjoy.”

Antarctic sea ice has been above normal for almost 13 straight months, and almost all of the coastal water around Antarctica has below normal temperatures. Where does McKibben come up with this crap?

Scientists used to say that the Antarctic Peninsula was the fastest warming place on Earth, until it started cooling. And even then they still kept saying it.

One thing that has become obvious from the regular alarmists who comment on this blog is that they are too lazy to look at the raw data for themselves. It always comes down to a matter of faith for them.

They can’t believe that government scientists would lie, cheat or delude themselves with confirmation bias. It is easier for them to have misplaced faith, than to put out the effort to think for themselves.

I have no interest in believing bullshit, which is why I don’t take anything at face value.
