Hot Alaska means frigid eastern 2/3 of the continental US. I even read somewhere that Alaska was relatively ice free during the last Ice Age.
I was in Fairbanks Christmas Eve of 60 or 61 when the Temp was 45 above and on the same day it was 20 above in Florida.
In the entire 20th Century, there were only 20 snowfall events recorded for Florida.
In the first 13 years of the 21st Century, there were 12.
