If The Science Is Settled, Why Do They Have To Come Up With New Theories Every Three Weeks?

At least once every three weeks, the team comes up with a new theory to explain why their last “settled science” theory failed.

    It’s called “goalpost-modern science”. 😉

    • Dave N says:

I’d go for: “goalpost-normal science”, but yours is still funny 😉

      • B.C. says:

Yeah, Dave, that works better. That’s what happens when one tries to comment while in the middle of preparing a meal… I reached for the post-normal salt and ended up grabbing the “post-modern salt” instead. 🙂

      • Jason Calley says:

        Post-modern…post-normal…

Maybe “post-honest” is closer to the truth.

I would love to sit in and listen to their brainstorming sessions on how to deceive the masses with help from the State Run Media. These Public sector punks would not survive in the private sector. They need a pink slip bad.

The best one they have come up with is that warm causes cold. It is hard to believe that people buy into that, but they do.

    • When I need ice for my gin & tonic, I turn on the oven so the fridge works faster. When you want your air conditioner to work at maximum efficiency, you build a bonfire around the condenser coils (I don’t use a/c because I’ve discovered that when it’s really hot it’s super cold at the same time).

You just have to be careful, because you’re working with unimaginably powerful forces. For instance, if you put on too many blankets in the Winter, your sink will overflow.

  6. Morgan says:

The atmospheric hot spot didn’t exist so warm water sank to the bottom of the ocean.
