It’s hard to keep a good alarmist down. Here’s Dr David Doofus earlier this year:

We got a lot of snow storms this past year. Fortunately only one was “heavy”. But then most years, we only get one heavy snow, but that is about all (except dustings).

As the CAGW scammers always do, once their predictions were proven wrong, they “adjusted the parameters” of their understanding of climate — so now, “everyone knows that warmer temperatures mean more moisture in the air and therefore more snow.” Just like they now know that “warmer temperatures mean more Antarctic sea ice.”
These people are shameless. If they were actual scientists they would admit that diction is not the same as PRE-diction. Sadly, they are not scientists. They are politicians who pretend that they create a new reality every time they speak.
Adding it all up(Antarctic ice extent, arctic returning home, cold records all over the NH), it certainly looks like we maybe heading towards a mini ice age. LOL

gail,i live in scotland, many uk sceptics actually call snow “viner” these days . the last two winters,particularly last winter have been fairly mild in the low lands ,but the ski resorts have been doing just fine.
the met office have predicted another mild winter to come,that virtually guarantees we will have a severely cold one 🙂
So, the idiots at the UK Met Office are back to long range guessing again. Maybe they like being laughed at.
If the MET office had any one with brains near the top they would steal forecasts from Joe Bastardi, Joseph D’Aleo and Piers Corbyn then synthesize there own from those.
I don’t think one of the world’s oldest comedy clubs (aka UK Met Office) does sensible.
It’s bad enough when the snow cats have to plow to clear the tow rope lanes but when they have to plow to clear the lifts? Now that’s a snownado.

The year before last we had the deepest snow I can remember in Sheffield and I was born in 1966. We should be planning for global cooling, not warming.

Folks, I believe we are at a tipping point. I am sure that within the next few years as these cooling and increased snow trends continue the whole bunch of the “alarmist gang” will be publishing their research showing that CO2 is causing this global cooling. There will be a “new and improved” IPCC working group and the government money will be flowing like never before so we can stop this disaster. Oh man and his evil ways!
In the excitement over the Pope’s encyclical and the upcoming Paris conference, people are not talking about how CO2 mitigation efforts, if successful, would put civilization onto an unsustainable path.
