No one knows. I was joking that they’d run in the pile and not make it. But I was joking about not making it. Running into the pile had to be tried (and yes, the offense is supposed to open a lane). They had lots of time and timeouts. Dunno. After such a entertaining and ridiculous catch, they apparently didn’t settle down.
