Earth Day CO2 Bubble

A giant CO2 bubble has descended over Canada, and put the entire country in the deep freeze.

    That says it all.

Yours is coming Tony and CW. The models are showing your winter isn’t over yet. Come next weekend get the skis and poles out because there is going to plenty of powder.

    • RAH says:

Forgot the map showing the biggest snow of the season coming for you guys.

No worries, RAH. This is Boulder.

2017 to be the hottest year: Sea-ice shrinks, WMO says world entered ‘uncharted territory’

The World Meterological Organization (WMO) that crowned the 2016 as the warmest year now predicts 2017 will be hotter and could be the hottest year in living memory.

      http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/2017-hottest-year/1/915740.html

You see, the pretend climate models of our scientists show that snow is a thing of the past and it is going to be extremely hot.

In the alternative, if man-made global warming does causes extreme cold just as our scientists also predicted, we have cords and cords of pretend firewood ready to heat the house.

Living in the progressive Mecca and being climate conscious has many advantages. We don’t have the problems others are facing. We can even feed pretend municipal electricity into our grid like no one else.

        It’s actually deceivingly cold outside.

Those geniuses at the Denver Post think it’s hot.

        • Colorado Wellington says:

“I just want people to pay attention to science,” said Bradley Maurer, a 22-year-old mechanical engineering student at Colorado State University. “We have to have facts and logic and data behind our decisions.”

One person marched in a polar bear costume with a poster saying, “help.”

I wonder if that polar bear person got help from Bradley Maurer who likes facts and logic and data.

The march was Maurer’s first foray into political action, as was the case for many others, including his group of friends …

Other ralliers said their first time was the Jan. 21 Women’s March — and its iconic pink hats speckled Saturday morning’s crowd.

Wait a second, is it the progressive pussy hat science crowd again?

The march has been painted by some as a liberal rally, but many marchers objected to that description by wearing shirts and holding signs that declared that facts don’t have a political bias.

Oh, good. That’s a relief. I was beginning to worry there was politics involved.

The phrase ‘living memory’ means ‘during the lifetimes of those now living.’ Seems to me this is a form of timeframe cherrypicking.

Meanwhile here in Phoenix, Arizona, the weather is pretty close to perfect today:

I’m playing guitar and singing with my band for a company picnic this afternoon. This hottest year ever isn’t having much of an effect on my life. At all. I think I’ll worry about something else. Actually, I don’t think I’m going to worry about anything and I’ll just make hay while the sun shines and have fun with my friends.

    • arn says:

      Well ,
every year is the hottest year if you listen to the AGW cult-
(and every new year will be.they simply declare this by decree
just like communist ruling parties declared their 98% win
      after the election)
and it has not affected you life
      and it won’t.

But closing down coal power plants for the sake of the co2 scam will affect your life for sure.

    • AZ1971 says:

Hey gregole, did you participate in Pat’s Run this morning? Was a lovely 67°F when it kicked off at 7:00 AM (not that I was venturing out to Tempe to join in; they were sold out) and it’s been a nice day so far. The little woman and I tried doing some open houses and were surprised that of the five that had signs up on our way to enjoy some wings at Ray’s Pizza, only two were still doing their open house at 2:15 PM. We were wondering if the realtors thought it was too hot outside or what — such an odd time to wrap up an open house exhibit.

      • gregole says:

I missed Pat’s run, would’ve loved to be there but had a gig at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. I was standing playing guitar and singing all afternoon – it’s getting a little warm but I like the heat here. So far, it’s been a gorgeous Spring don’t you think?

I posted this earlier over at WUWT:

    Changing the goal posts!!!!

Have you seen this howler! Today in the paper Paul Douglas our local meteorologist said that the last 628 months have been warmer than average. That’s, like, the last 52 years! So I looked around on the internet and found this:
    http://www.climatecentral.org/news/628-months-since-the-world-had-cool-month-21365

So against what “average” are they comparing temperature? AD 1881-1910 !!!!

  8. Andy DC says:

Snow, hail, thunderstorms and sharp frosts are all forecast for the UK this week. All caused by climate change denier Donald Trump!

The science is settled, we are all going to die!! I want my Play Dough! I want my Mommy!!

  9. toorightmate says:

    Griff,
Get well soon OR are you still marching?

  10. Mai Zimbleman says:

Oil does not contain carbon 14 – that says everything about it not being an organic sourced compound.

“Fossil Fuels” are not Fossil Fuels- Oil is Not a Fossil Fuel – It is ‘Renewable’

“There are some things the general public does not need to know, and shouldn’t. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows.”
—the late Katherine Graham, owner of the Washington Post

Why “Fossil Fuels” are not Fossil Fuels
    hydrocarbon
    carbohydrate
    Hydrocarbon
    Carbohydrate

The claim that petroleum originates with biological materials seems strange, because biology is too dynamic for such one-way diversions. The real proof that petroleum is not biological in its origins is in the chemistry. http://nov79.com/fsl.html

Con #2: Oil is Not a Fossil Fuel – It is ‘Renewable’

“There are some things the general public does not need to know, and shouldn’t. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows.”
—the late Katherine Graham, owner of the Washington Post

So Con #2 is that oil is a fossil fuel (which it isn’t), that it is scarce and being depleted (which it isn’t), that it is nonrenewable (which it isn’t), and that, as a result, catastrophe looms (which it doesn’t) unless we drastically curtail our use of petroleum.

Oil is renewable, not reusable. https://anticorruptionsociety.com/anatomy-of-a-con-job/con-2-oil-is-not-a-fossil-fuel-it-is-renewable/

  11. Griff says:

Well Alaska seems pretty warm in your chart…

and you didn’t show Siberia, where wildfires are already kicking off.

the arctic while still cold this winter was nowhere near as cold as it has been in the last century.

It had a series of storms move through it of a sort we would not have expected last century.

The ice is broken, thin and of low volume.

come September I foresee this website will be avoiding mention of it…

    • AndyG55 says:

Way COOLER than it has been most of the Holocene, hey griff.

And there is still WAY more Arctic sea ice than there has been for 90-95% of the last 10,000 years.

      Wouldn’t you agree , griff. ! :-)

Or are you STILL going to deny FACTS, and NATURAL climate change ??

    • gator69 says:

Why do you care Ms Griff? The mild warming we have experienced since the LIA isn’t killing anyone.

Why do you hate poor brown people Ms Griff?

    • AndyG55 says:

“It had a series of storms move through it of a sort we would not have expected last century.”

You would not have the vaguest clue what would have been expected last century.

You live in a FANTASY make-believe place, totally unrelated to the world we are actually living on.

Just MAKE IT UP as you go along, griff.

Its what you have ALWAYS done.

    • AndyG55 says:

And FFS, griff, take that pink vag hat off your head. !

It makes you look even more of a FOOL and an IDIOT than your comments do.
