When you do not waste your intellectuall capacity for hobgoblins and victimhood(or trying to extract some money from somewhere else)
you will use it for practical and usefull results in the real world.

  2. MGJ says:

Interesting. Within individual western countries, the opposite seems to apply. The real climate bed-wetters tend to have gone through the full dehumanizing university indoctrination while the much-hated ‘white working class’ has other concerns.

True, and it highlights the fundamental difference between education and credentials claiming holders’ education.

    • Jason Calley says:

Hey MGJ! I think you are right that a lot of people have suffered from the effects of their university experience. On the other hand, I remember that there was a study which found that people who are sceptics tend to be more educated in engineering and science than the CAGW enthusiasts. Apparently, being schooled in the “humanities” (I use quotes because while they are supposedly studies of human attributes and accomplishments they are certainly no longer humane) teaches student how to bypass logic and reasoning.

Many of those on the left that claim to be Jews only have the bloodline and are either agnoitic or atheists in practice. They only self proclaim their Jewish heritage when it is convenient for them.

Here in North Carolina, our Governor wants to follow California’s lead in “reducing” CO2:

Cooper sets global warming goal to cut NC greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent

North Carolina would cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent by 2025 under an ambitious statewide goal set by Gov. Roy Cooper on Monday.

With Cooper’s signing of the executive order, North Carolina joins states like Colorado, California and others that have set statewide targets for reducing emissions of gases that are associated with global warming and climate change. In 2006, California set a 40 percent reduction goal by 2030 from 1990 levels, while Colorado has set a goal of cutting emissions by at least 26 percent by 2025 from 2005 levels.

The order commits North Carolina to adhering to the 2015 Paris Agreement environmental treaty, even though President Donald Trump, a Republican, previously said he will pull the U.S. out of the treaty on the earliest possible date, which is in 2020. Cooper, a Democrat, is among 17 state governors who have joined the U.S. Climate Alliance to commit to the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Someone correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe that the Paris Climate Treaty was never ratified by the US Senate, a requirement for all treaties. Obama claimed that the US would abide by it, but the President does not have that authority. Trump does not have to wait until 2020 to pull out of the Paris Treaty because the US never agreed to it.

NC’s Democrat Governor, Roy Cooper, ignores all this and wants to join the Paris Agreement like California and 16 other states!
