Five years ago, The Met Office announced that Scottish skiing is a thing of the past.
Skiing is ‘doomed’ … so enjoy it while it lasts – The Scotsman
This winter they have had the most snow in almost 70 years.

Yeah, but was it a prediction or merely a projection, eh? Eh?! Stuff like this is just soooo beautiful. Highly embarrassing for the Met Office.
Steven please don’t mock the GLO-BULL warming / science is settled crowd & Met office “experts”. As Mickey Mann has shown their feelings are very delicate 😉
The 2014 Winter Olympics could have had all the snow they needed if it had been in Scotland. I recall the Sochi location being laughed at when it was selected. Who in their right mind schedules winter sports in a summer resort area?
Frauds intent on convincing the masses that the Earth is warming out of control.
I think they figured they could handle the snow cover problem, and this way they chose a nice resort. Only afterwards did some meretricious warmists point to the lack of snow in Sochi, either being ignorant of its location or hoping that their readers wouldn’t know about this.
Ski industry in Scotland is doomed! That is because the snow had buried the lift chairs Maybe by June it will thaw enough to ski.
As soon as the MET declared snow would stop falling, they should have invested in much taller snow fences.
