“We Have Nothing To Fear But Fear Itself”
Franklin Roosevelt said that, and no truer words were ever spoken. Government controls people through fear, in order to convince them to give up their money and freedom.
Here are a few examples:
I have a friend who lives in a very safe neighborhood in California. Despite the fact that the chances of her being shot are about as large as being struck by lightning, she is campaigning hard to get guns banned. If she were successful, the crime rate in her neighborhood would undoubtedly skyrocket, and then she would actually have something to fear. The reason her neighborhood is safe, is because the large numbers of criminals and gang members in the Bay Area know that many homeowners are armed. She fears the very thing which keeps her safe, and wants it destroyed.
Environmentalists are terrified of a harmless trace gas, and have instead bought off on destructive technologies like wind energy. Their thought process is completely irrational, and driven by fear – instilled in them by the government
Barack Obama governs almost entirely by fear mongering. There are more uninsured now than when he was elected, but he managed to convince Democrats to give away their money to his insurance industry buddies – through fear.

The US government has almost unlimited resources to generate fear through propaganda, and Americans need to decide if they are strong enough to not be destroyed by the destructive forces currently in power.
Reblogged this on BLOGGING BAD w/Gunny G ~ "CLINGERS of AMERICA!".
So what does she say when u tell her this ?
Plugs ears. Acts like a zombie.
Crime soared with Mass. gun law
This is in reference to the new improved MA gun law but MA has always been a ‘Leader’ in socialist nanny statism. While I was there the license to carry law was completely rewritten in 1986. I remember much of the following from that time:
So a criminal can be pretty sure people, especially around the Boston area are not armed. I also remember the murder outside my window and the rape of the woman next door and a friend having to shoot a guy dead who was going after a woman in the street with an axe.
Massachusetts! Hard to believe our revolution started there isn’t it?
I was stationed at Ft. Devens for 5 1/2 years. 10th SFG(A) had the group HQ and 2nd and 3rd Battalions there until they moved to Ft. Carson, CO before the post was closed. Ayer and Shirley are the two towns on the map nearest to where it was.
There are many stories I could tell about the people there but I will limit my remarks to give you a flavor for the way it was.
One could go to Leominster only a few miles away and find people that lived there that had no idea that there was an Army post only a few miles from where they were born and raised. This despite the fact that Ft. Devens had been a training post since WW I.
My team was tasked for supplying the honor guard and presenting the colors at the old Boston Gardens for a Bruins hockey game once. Now marching and doing the movements required on ice in Jump boots is not exactly an easy thing to do. I was one of the two “guards” flanking the colors carrying a M-14 which was what we used for our ceremonial rifles at that time. The looks we two armed individuals in our dress greens with green berets on received when we came in through the entrance where those with suites came in were something to behold.
As we marched out to present the colors some guy up in the crowd kept yelling “Who are dees guys?” over and over again. It was hard to keep a straight face because of his heavy accent. Anyway after we did our deal we were put in a suite and watched a great game for free.
One time my team was training on a 106 MM recoiless rifle on the range. We got 3 shots off before range control shut us down. Some woman in Harvard claimed that the noise was giving her husband a heart attack.
Thanks for the posting.
That statement gave me the courage to continue after Climategate emails exposed corruption beyond my imagination.
Main quotation from FDR’s 1st inaugural address. Read the rest. Scary then, scary now.
It’s fascinating (and horrifying) to see how easily people are manipulated by fear and emotion. It completely circumvents their critical thinking skills.
We have the brave, fearless, restless efforts of one Suzanna Hupp to thank for the present CHL laws in Texas. As a result of her being helpless at a mass shooting in a Luby’s cafeteria (she HAD to leave her gun in the car while she and both her parents, who were both shot incidentally, went inside) “the Texas Legislature in 1995 passed a shall-issue gun law, which requires that all qualifying applicants be issued a Concealed Handgun License (the state’s required permit to carry concealed weapons), removing the personal discretion of the issuing authority to deny such licenses.”
I want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Suzanna for her efforts.
.
Is she the one that testified before congress and her father was killed in that shooting?
Father AND Mother both fatally wounded there at the Luby’s; A quick check with google and I find that she did testify before congress: She had removed her gun from her purse and left it in the car just before going into Luby’s with her folks.

Medicaid (subsidizing medical industry) has done the most harm by robbing state coffers of revenues formerly used for higher education, forcing state colleges to hike tuition, which was further enabled by.. .Student loans– the existence encouraged states to cut support and colleges to raise tuition.
So, young grad couples are saddled with two burdens: taxes to pay for med industry subsidies) AND saddled with student loan debts. So would-be middle class couples delay marriage and kids, and middle class shrinks compared to underclass.
Remedy: put Medicaid funds back into higher education and cut tuition 75% (and 100% for med school) in exchange for med schools taking on Medicaid patients. Med students pay $0.00 tuition in return for serving the needy upon employment in med practice.
The Feds use to have a similar program, if when they left medical school the new Docs moved to an under served community and did X number of years practicing medicine there. The only trouble was that the program was captured by gold digger chicks who spent all their time trying to marry a successful male Doc so that little Miss Feminist could quit working as an MD and concentrate full time on enlarging her liver while her husband was away from the house.
They still do, if I’m not mistaken. Section 330 clinics and/or the Indian Health Service placements for graduates who used the National Health Service Corps. See this: http://nhsc.hrsa.gov/ .
Sounds like slavery to me.
The spike in uninsured is due to the bad economy, as most family insurance is provided by employers. Obama is good at ruining things and pivoting to his preferred policies of socialism as the cure.
