September 5 used to be a hot day in the US, but temperatures have plummeted since the 19th century
On this date in 1925, Arkansas, Georgia and Mississippi all reached 110 degrees. Illinois and Tennessee were 109 degrees. Alabama, Kentucky and Missouri were 108 degrees. South Carolina was 107 degrees, Kansas was 106 degrees, Oklahoma was 104 degrees.

All year we have been hearing from the criminals in the climate mafia that the Arctic is record hot and sea ice is at a record low. In fact, it has been very cold in the Arctic, summer was short, and there is lots of new ice forming several weeks earlier than normal. Sea ice area is up more than 40% from five years ago.
I started writing about climate nine years ago with this article in The Register. I pointed out that Arctic experts are wildly incompetent hacks, and came under attack by Walt Meier at NSIDC for doing so.

Based on the advice of these experts, Lewis Pugh tried to kayak to the North Pole.

Pugh didn’t get very far, and the fake news press quite predictably declared victory in defeat.

As with almost everything else reported by the press, this was fake news which the author simply made up. Here is some actual news from 95 years ago.
last winter, the ocean did not freeze over even on the north coast of Spitzbergen.

The leading experts from Norway, Canada and the US had no clue what they were talking about, and the press lied and never retracted their fake stories – but nothing unusual about that.

That isn’t the prediction I am making fun of in this post however. Ten years ago, America’s top experts predicted the Arctic would be ice-free by 2012. They said “The Arctic is screaming.”

Their forecast was based on the commonly held superstition that 0.0004 mole fraction atmospheric CO2 controls ice behavior, and the forecast of course failed – because they had no clue what they were talking about. The 2007 article said Greenland was melting down and was the canary in the coal mine. Ten years later Greenland had their fifth largest mass gain on record.

In that 2007 article, scientists announced that a weakened jet stream caused drought in the Southeast.
This week they claimed the exact opposite, saying a weakened jet stream causes floods.

Climate scientists have no clue what they are talking about. Global warming theory is junk science, and there appear to be no limitations on how these crooked snake oil salesmen will change their story to keep the scam alive.
August afternoon temperatures have been plummeting in Iowa since the 19th century, has has been the frequency of hot days. This year had one of the coolest Augusts on record in Iowa.
On Labor Day, 1935 the Florida Keys were hit by a category 5 hurricane with 185 MPH winds. The storm then went up the coast and flooded North Carolina and Maryland.

This came a few weeks after the worst dust storm and most intense rainfall on record.
On May 31, 1935 Woodward Ranch, Texas set the world record with 22 inches of rain in less than three hours.
Colorado got nearly that much rain a few hours earlier.

CO2 was 305 PPM at the time. If we had a repeat of 1935 weather, experts would say they were 100% certain it was due to 400 PPM CO2.
The Arctic sea ice minimum this year is very likely going to be be larger than 2016, 2015, 2012, 2011 and 2007.

It is also likely that the minimum extent will be higher than 2010 and 2008.
Instead of reporting the huge gain in ice and massive failure of their forecasts, climate alarmists will report that extent was “8th lowest on record.”

Climate experts are not scientists. They are consultants paid billions of dollars to push junk science on the public.
On September 8, 1900 the Texas coast was hit by a category 4 hurricane which killed more than 10,000 people and destroyed many cities.

Zeke Hausfather is the go to guy for climate fraud plausible deniability. Every time a story comes up about NASA/NOAA temperature adjustments cooling the past, he tells the press that NOAA adjustments actually warm the past. An example would be the urban heat island of Buenos Aires, where NOAA has indeed warmed the past.

A closer look shows how Zeke is misleading the public. In 1950 there were only about ten GHCN stations in South America with daily temperature data.
Two of those stations were located near Buenos Aires. One was in Buenos Aires and the other was a rural location 35 miles away in Uruguay, which stopped recording in 1996.
Buenos Aires had a strong warming trend from 1930 to 1995.
The rural station cooled by an equal amount. 
Both stations showed a decrease in the number of hot days.
NOAA did warm the past in Buenos Aires, but not enough to account for UHI. They show warming around Buenos Aires, where they should show cooling. NOAA then homogenized the UHI infected Buenos Aires data into the nearby rural data, and turned a cooling trend into a warming trend. They also filled in South America with imaginary warming data in countries where they didn’t have any thermometers.

NOAA shows warming from 1930 to 1995 near Buenos Aires, where they should show cooling. Zeke tells a tiny percentage of the story, in order to justify the unjustifiable.
