The climate was brutal in the past. Even if you are delusional enough to believe that CO2 controls the climate, only a complete moron would want to return to the past.

Satellites show that temperatures at Canberra have been declining at 2.2C/century since 1997.

But surface temperatures have been rising at 7.1C/century

This probably has something to do with the fact that BOM placed their thermometer right next to a huge parking lot.

GISS claims that they adjust for UHI, but in fact they do almost nothing to correct the problem. They shift all post-1940 temperatures down by about an equal amount, and leave behind the completely fake sharp warming trend at Canberra.

One more indication that the surface temperature record from GISS and BOM is a farce.

Last night, Obama took credit for low gas prices, which are helping families.

And thanks to lower gas prices and higher fuel standards, the typical family this year should save $750 at the pump.

But he tried to raise gas prices to $8 per gallon. He simply failed at his effort to screw the middle class and poor.

There has been no change in the frequency of 1 cm rainfall events in the US

The frequency of 5 cm rainfall events is about the same as 100 years ago, and they peaked in the 19th century.

Experts say that heavy rainfall events are increasing due to global warming, but there isn’t one smidgen of evidence to support that claim.

NCDC has no thermometers in most of Africa, and nearly half of the rest of the land surface, so they fabricate fake land temperatures based on sea surface temperatures more than 1,000 km away

To show how fraudulent this practice is, let’s look at the US where they do have surface data. The Atlantic was warm, while the US and Canada were very cold last year. You can not extrapolate temperatures across land/ocean boundaries.

What they are doing is equivalent to measuring Death Valley temperature, based on the temperature of the cold water offshore in the Pacific.

But it gets worse – after making up these completely fake temperatures across vast swaths of the planet, they report a global temperature record of 0.02 degrees. This is scientific malfeasance – pure and simple.

if we do not act forcefully, we’ll continue to see rising oceans, longer, hotter heat waves, dangerous droughts and floods, and massive disruptions that can trigger greater migration, conflict, and hunger around the globe. The Pentagon says that climate change poses immediate risks to our national security.

This is almost identical to what the CIA said about global cooling in 1974.

Oceans have been rising for 20,000 years. King Canute also thought he could stop the rise of the seas.

According to the EPA, heat waves in the US peaked in the 1930’s and have been declining ever since.

Floods and droughts show no trend. Worst droughts were in the 1930s.
