No Trend In Extreme Weather In The US

Record weather events peaked in the US in the 1930s, and then there was another peak around the time when Hansen gave his 1988 testimony to Congress, but there has been no long-term trend.

Record heat peaked in the 1930s

Record cold had several peaks, most recently the 1980s and 1990s.

Rainfall records have increased, with the peak year being 1982.

Snowfall records don’t show much of a trend, with the peak year being 1996.

California Permanent Drought Update

Due to the California permanent drought, Squaw Valley has only has 611 inches (51 feet) of snow so far this season, and may have to shut down their skiing after the 4th of July.

The 1960 winter Olympics at Squaw Valley almost had to be cancelled because of a lack of snow. But that was back in the days when they ran out of snow in February instead of July.

CO2 No Longer The Control Knob

After telling us for years that CO2 is the control knob of climate, alarmists are now telling us that view is “moronic.”

David Hanselman on Twitter: “Just bc you deniers can only think in the simplest terms, doesn’t mean bona fide scientists are so limited. https://t.co/pGdhVCK8vJ… https://t.co/DVfvCYctWs”

“A study by GISS climate scientists recently published in the journal Science shows that atmospheric CO2 operates as a thermostat to control the temperature of Earth”

More Arctic Sea Ice Than 1922

During the winter of 1922, there was no sea ice around Spitzbergen (Svalbard.) The water had warmed by 12C and it was too warm for seals.  There was a radical change in climatic conditions, with unheard-of high temperatures.

This year, there is lots of ice around Svalbard, and ice in the Barents and Kara Seas is very close to the 1981-2010 median edge.

Temperatures are very cold there, and the ice is growing rapidly.

Experts describe this increase in ice since 1922 and normal ice conditions – as a tipping point of global warming. As is normally the case, the data shows the exact opposite of  claims made by climate scientists.

I’ve been calling out the Russia collusion scam since the day Hillary started it – in order to keep the Wikileaks E-mails from being an election issue. Now that it is about to collapse, the perpetrators are retreating to their bunkers.
