If the present refuses to get warmer, then the past must become cooler.
NASA is trying to make the 1930’s/1940’s warmth disappear.

No, the largest value for any year is 2.44C. 1940 was lower than surrounding years in both versions.

I did the CRUtem3 comparison again, and with similar results.
CRUtem3 for Reykavic begins in 1870.
CRUtem3 agrees* with GISS-cool for the period 1901 – 1919. * give or take.
CRUtem3 agrees with GISS-hot from 1920 – 2010.
All three agree* from about 1990 – 2010. *give or take.
The kicker this time is that I also got Reykjavik monthlies from the Icelandic Met Office website for the period 1949 – 2012, and there’s no material difference with CRUtem3.
Conclusion: IMO, CRUtem3 and GISS-hot all say GISS-cool is fake.
