<akes sense that if the arctic can warm that quickly it can cool that quickly as well.
Pre-1979, so doesn’t count!
Reblogged this on Climatism.
There he was on our old $100 note.

Mawson said there was a hole in the ice and he was right!
Hang on…………check that. It’s still dark at the North Pole for the next fortnight.
It looks very icy up there.
In 1924 Mawson knew more than NASA, NOAA, CSIRO, BOM and the Australian Climate Council combined. The Poles were melting and that was when CO2 was sub 350!!!!!!! Stone the Crows!!!!
Alarmists are such stupid sock puppets for the Carbon Credit shysters.
“Sir Douglas pointed out that the meteorological world was awakening to the importance of this Antarctic control, which was so much greater than that of the Arctic regions. Several investigators were at present collating the data available on the subject with a view to showing the result of it in figures. Greater knowledge of the Southern Polar regions was a scientific necessity in meteorological study. It had already been shown that the Indian monsoon was largely controlled by this great Antarctic land mass. “Meanwhile the ice at the poles is certainly decreasing,” said Sir Douglas cheer- fully, “but as the enormous area of the Antarctic regions is mostly covered to a depth of 10,000 ft., the diminution is not visible. Some day even that terrific cap of ice and snow will be melted. If we could return to the earth in 5,000 years we should probably find the climate appreciably warmer,”
