Climate Talking Points For Trump Tonight

The press and White House have worked hard to establish a massive set of climate lies, which will no doubt be used to ambush Donald Trump tonight. I posted this a few weeks ago, and hopefully some of it got through to his campaign.

——————————————————————————————————-

Almost all of our heat, light, cooling, communication and transportation is done using fossil fuels. All of our food and medicine is transported using fossil fuels. Without fossil fuels, every tree would get cut down by people needing to burn wood for warmth. The air would be thick with smoke like China. People would be starving to death and freezing in the winter. There would be no Internet, mass transit or communications. If we “keep it in the ground” or “make electricity prices skyrocket” like Democrats want to do,  it would be an immediate catastrophe like nothing mankind has ever faced.

  1. There is no 97% consensus of scientists. In a 2013 survey of the professional members of the American Meteorological Society, only 52% believed that global warming was primarily man-made – much less dangerous. No group in the survey came anywhere close to reaching 97%.

In 1975, the National Academy of Sciences said “The climates of the earth have always been changing.” Blaming every weather event on humans is not science, it is superstition.

2. Heatwaves are not getting worse. According to the EPA, the worst heatwaves in the US (by far) occurred during the 1930’s – when the Midwest commonly saw temperatures over 110 degrees, and as high as 120 degrees.

4. Scientists say that California has had much more severe droughts in the past, lasting as long as 200 years. The past 100 years was the wettest century on record in California.

No hurricanes have entered or developed in the Gulf of Mexico since September 2013, a stretch of well over 1,000 days. By the end of this week, the streak will be the longest on record, dating to the 1800s.

9. According to NOAA, sea level is only rising 1.7 to 1.8 mm/year. At that rate, it will take thousands of years for Manhattan to drown.

11. Glaciers have been melting for a very long time. In 1879, John Muir (founder of the Sierra Club) found that Alaska’s largest glacier had retreated 48 miles since 1794. Twenty thousand years ago, Chicago was buried under a mile of glacial ice.

Just to be clear … in point 6 … ” a group of global warming sailors are currently blocked by impenetrable ice in the Northeast Passage.” … Northabout is no longer blocked. Perhaps a rephrase of that point may be in order.

    Thanks for reposting this.

You can send to the Trump campaign directly by clicking on the GET INVOLVED header and put it in the comments.

    OR

    You can tweet a link.

(I suggest everyone with a twitter account does so.)

And also you can send it to Sundance. The Trump campaign picks up stuff from ConservativeTreeHouse very rapidly so I think there is a major pipeline from that website. (I would do it but I have not gotten my IP address unblocked yet.)

  3. Robertv says:

If he would openly attack his opponent on the fraud committed, because of government intervention, in the scientific world than I’m sure more would come forward to expose it’s all a lie to gain control and create a UN world government. Who wants to stay on a sinking hillary ship? Possible it would make the ship sink much faster and maybe even break in two.

    • Gail Combs says:

Robert he first has to win the election.

He is playing 3-D chess and NOT letting the Progressive Globalists trap him with Hot Button topics like Global Warming or Abortion or Gay Rights.

Instead he talks of lowering the cost of energy, putting coal miners and steel workers back to work, bring back jobs stopping terrorists and drugs….

It is all in the packaging and the guy really knows how to package an idea.

    • Robertv says:

But then candidates can change their opinion once they become president like in Spain.

      • Gail Combs says:

Trump’s opinions have stayed pretty stable for the last 15 years. That is why I bought his books and read them first before deciding to support him.

        Remember:
#1. Trump does not NEED the job and promised to donate the salary.

#2. Trump does not NEED the headache. He could continue building, making money, playing golf and playing with his grand kids.

#3. Trump only stepped up to the plate because no one else with the ability, integrity or the stainless steel balls would.

#4. Trump AND his family have received numerous death threats. He ALWAYS wears a vest in public AND goes armed. (The secret service guys had to drag him away when a protestor got over the barrier.) Ross Perot dropped out because of the death threats to his family according to a comment by someone high up in his organization who commented at the TreeHouse. Trump has not.

Trump is well aware of how corrupt the government is and how far the USA has fallen. Like me he remembers the USA of the 1950s and 60s when the sky was the limit and we reached for it. He does not want to pass on this crippled dying country to his family when he has a shot at fixing it.

To put it bluntly we had a choice between Hitlery, Bernie (who got taken out by the DNC) Jeb the Twig and Trump who was supposed to get taken down by the GOPe.

This cycle we were supposed to have a choice of Slow Jeb the Twig (please clap) or Crooked Hitlery.

Be glad we have another choice.

It is enough to make this agnostic pray daily thanking G..D and asking for Trump’s continued good health.

The Fraud Trump needs to hammer Clinton on is:

LYING to the Benghazi gold star families when she KNEW it was not some idiot video. Her DATED e-mails show she knew it was terrorists before she spoke to them.

LYING about her server, emails and classified material.

LYING to donors who though they were donating to Haiti and were instead filling the pockets of the Clintons with BILLIONS.

The President of the Senate of Haiti brought up the fact that only 2.5% of those billions went to Haiti and mean while the Clintons sold off the Haitian gold mine to Hillary’s brother and other resources to other friends. He asked Trump to nail Clinton with this at the debate.

Was a good post this. There’ll be more agw-contradicting data out there too, just waiting to be lined up. How about really going to town on their asses across a range of planet-wide data?

  5. Andy DC says:

Maybe the best tactic would be to admit that there has been a degree or so of warming over the last 150 years, but many scientists believe that that the human role in this warming has been “greatly exaggerated” by those with a vested interest. That human capacity to make any difference one way or another, no matter how much we spend, is dubious at best.

    • Gail Combs says:

Not only has the warming out of the Little Ice Age been beneficial it occurred as a Step-Change! Unfortunately we maybe finding out the hard way that it is COLD not warmth that is bad news for humans.
      …..

Ice cores from the Freemont Glacier show it went from Little Ice Age cold to Modern Warming warm in the ten years around 1850 — Naturally.

      ABSTRACT
An ice core removed from the Upper Fremont Glacier in Wyoming provides evidence for abrupt climate change during the mid-1800s….

At a depth of 152 m the refined age-depth profile shows good agreement (1736±10 A.D.) with the 14C age date (1729±95 A.D.). The δ18O profile of the Upper Fremont Glacier (UFG) ice core indicates a change in climate known as the Little Ice Age (LIA)….

At this depth, the age-depth profile predicts an age of 1845 A.D. Results indicate the termination of the LIA was abrupt with a major climatic shift to warmer temperatures around 1845 A.D. and continuing to present day. Prediction limits (error bars) calculated for the profile ages are ±10 years (90% confidence level). Thus a conservative estimate for the time taken to complete the LIA climatic shift to present-day climate is about 10 years, suggesting the LIA termination in alpine regions of central North America may have occurred on a relatively short (decadal) timescale.

Dr. Evans Solar Notch-Delay Theory predicts a delay of about 11 years from a change in solar conditions to a change in earth climate.

So what happened around 1840? Solar Cycle 8. It began in November 1833 with a smoothed sunspot number of 7.3 and ended in July 1843. Max sunspot number ~210. The prior Solar Cycle 7,began in May 1823 with a smoothed sunspot number of 0.1 and ended in November 1833. Max sunspot number ~105. And thus began the Grand Solar Maximum, highest in 3,000 years which has just ended.

In the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics, Usoskin et al. “present the first fully adjustment-free physical reconstruction of solar activity” covering the past 3,000 years, which record allowed them “to study different modes of solar activity at an unprecedented level of detail.” Their reconstruction of solar activity displays several “distinct features,” including several “well-defined Grand minima of solar activity, ca. 770 BC, 350 BC, 680 AD, 1050 AD, 1310 AD, 1470 AD, and 1680 AD,” as well as “the modern Grand maximum (which occurred during solar cycles 19-23, i.e., 1950-2009),” described as “a rare or even unique event, in both magnitude and duration, in the past three millennia.”

    Wow. This is quite remarkable.

Michael Savage is a very well known radio talk personality. The Savage Nation is a nationally syndicated talk show that is the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country with an audience of over 20 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States.

Earlier today he was discussing his perspectives on the presidential debate and giving examples of current and anticipated debate bias.

In addition, the broadcaster began discussing Hillary Clinton’s mysterious health condition that Savage believes might be Parkinsons.

Almost immediately, and without any notification, New York (tri-state area) radio station WABC-Radio TV cut Savage off the air and replaced him with the lesser rated Curtis And Cooby Show…..

I thought Hillary stood up surprisingly well. No coughs or wobbles. Same old big government, though.

Good to hear The Donald call out Climate Change as not a priority, even though he didn’t call it out as fraud. And Hillary didn’t mention Climate Change once! Did you email her too, Tony? :D

      • Analitik says:

Whoops, Hillary did make one reference to Climate Change but only in an attack on The Donald – she definitely did not bring it up as one of her main policy statements, however.

        • Gail Combs says:

Did you catch Hitlery saying she would create new jobs and those jobs would be in the renewable energy field….

Didn’t I hear that one before?

Didn’t I see Obummer’s economic stimulus package a $787 billion plan renewed year after year end up as a transfer of tax dollars (FED created banker script) transferred to Obummers buddies with the tax payer left holding the bag for more debt than the entire US government ran up in over 200 years?

Oh and I just LOVED her saying she wants to raise taxes on the wealthy (who don’t make there money in the USA anymore) and on businesses who just head for Mexico and China.

Then there was the free childcare and free college.

Just WHO is going to PAY for that Hitlery???

Oh yes Hitlery, you already told us, the middle class, what is left of it that is.

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ua13_gYQn0

          • Analitik says:

No, no, no. Hillary quite clearly said she would raise all the money needed for all her promises by taxing the wealthy. People like Donald, even though he hasn’t filed a tax return so we don’t know if he is actually wealthy.

She kept telling everyone how she would “invest” in the middle class to make America great but no description at all in terms of what that investment would be (helicopter money?).

Trump’s calling out of the Fed was a long overdue statement in a political context.

The S-B BB temperature that applies to each of these is: 394.1, 397.3 and 390.8 K. The surface temperature is 288 K. The conductivity incoming or outgoing is the same, 0.024. • Gail Combs says:

After reading the comments at The “Cleaner” – Quick as a Flash…
A discussion of the Hilderbeast cheating, it finally dawned on me what might have been going on.

I think how Trump handled this debate was part of a long term game plan.

      Three Goals for this debate
      1. Get rid of the <b.‘Bad Temperment he will explode’ image.
      2. Don’t fall into the trap of SEE! He attacks a women!
      3. Appear slightly naive, a bit of a buffoon to get the DNC/GOPe to think he is an easy opponent. (Voters don’t care they are sick of slick politicians who continually lie.)

This explains why Trump let all the bait tossed at him last night go sailing over his head. The guy had the answers, we have heard his answers numerous times before at rallies but he did not use them. That had me very very puzzled at first.

Trump reminds me of my cat, Helga, hunting blue jays. She would jump barely off the ground several time so the jays would get very bold and dive bomb her closer and closer to her head. Then all of a sudden she was five feet above them and they were lunch.

I can not wait to see Trump make a Hitlery sandwich the last debate.

  13. Andy DC says:

I believe that the most important aspect of the debate is that Trump showed he could go toe to toe with Hillary on issues and easily hold his own. He was also very assertive without being boorish or impolite. Plus he did an excellent job deflecting the moderator’s and Hillary’s attempts to bait him.

    • Analitik says:

All the MSM are saying how Trump “lost” the debate by losing control in the 2nd half with all the interruptions. I say that his “unpolished” performance would be a plus for all those undecided voters who are sick of the “same, same” that has been delivered by the past 2 decades of “polished” career politicians.

      • Gail Combs says:

Problem is many people can count and the Daily Caller certainly can.

        Daily Caller
did a tally on interruptions of the debate candidates by the moderator in the first debate, and it was:

        41 Trump vs 7 Hillary

Also the character of the interruptions was much different. For Trump, Holt’s interruptions were often editorial and he was acting as proxy for Hillary while he never challenged Hillary.

It came off as two against one with the two progressives spouting lies. The “moderator” Holt, started right off the bat with lies. It was a ‘set up’ of “2 Economic realities” of “6 years of job growth” and “record wage growth” as E.M. Smith put it.

        E.M. went on to say:

Now right out the gate I have to look at that and say “Why the preamble?” WHY did the “moderator” choose that field of battle and then decorate it with “false facts”? Is he just so immersed in the spin he doesn’t know? Or was it deliberate? Yes, we’ve had 6 years of ‘job growth’ but at rates less than worker growth. Labor Participation is down. AND that ignores the “what job quality” and the “2 x 1/2 time jobs is nor > 1 good job” problem. Further, record wage growth? On what planet? Maybe he means total wages paid (expected with more total workers) but clearly clueless on “wage per worker AFTER adjusting for inflation” which is what really matters. So I call this one Highly Biased, though why is an open issue.

Second, “kinds of jobs”? That smells a bit of a set up for Clinton to launch into the “clean energy clean jobs” BS. And she does… As though construction and mining are not the right kind of jobs… It’s just a bit fishy…

      • Neal S says:

I by chance saw a local newspaper with ‘fact checking’ about the debate and I could tell right away that the fact checkers were lying. I didn’t bother reading any more than enough to see that the spin is thoroughly through the MSM. I hope enough other people notice so that soon enough, the MSM will have lost all credibility and will lose the ability to influence so many low information voters.

        • Gail Combs says:

Trust in the MSM is down to about 6%.

The dislike of the MSM is worse than the dislike for politicians because they were expected to keep the politicians honest and not sell us down the river for thirty pieces of silver.
