Atlanta and DC also bucked the national trend.

Hitlery got 93% of the DC vote, the same percent of the black vote that Skeeter got in 2012. Hmmmm…

  2. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Actually that is just the NYT being its usual.

What happened in Utah is a Mormon 3rd party candidate picked up the votes lost from the GOP side who’d had a Mormon candidate last time – Mitt Romney.

The NYT mischaracterises it as a swing to the left when it is no such thing.

  3. Latitude says:

Trump turned the whole country to the right…in spite of this being one of the most rigged elections in the history of this country

    • Bytor says:

It would be interesting to know what the “real” vote count turned out to be. I suspect that Trump won in a much larger margin that what we know.

Anecdotally, my own voting precinct in my little town here in Tennessee saw the largest turnout of any election they have ever handled, by far!

And anecdotally, it is interesting that every single television news organization the night of the election, reported MASSIVE voter turnout, with exclamations of “where are they all coming from” and reporting wait times of 4hrs, 5hrs and more. I find it very fishy that the “reported” turnout is now only 120 million total votes cast, which is slightly less than 2012. I don’t see how that is possible. I firmly believe there was massive vote skimming going on somewhere.

      • Jason Calley says:

Hey Bytor! Well, if you are wrong then we are both wrong. My suspicion is that if all the fraud were taken out of this election the real percentages would probably be more like 60% Trump, 35% Clinton, 5% Other. I have a difficult time believing that Clinton got a majority, however slim, of the actual human votes.

        • Bytor says:

I agree, I just cannot fathom how voter turnout could be reported as being less than 2012 … the anecdotal evidence overwhelmingly suggests otherwise.

      • David A says:

Bytor, yes, the reported turn out makes zero sense. It is known that the Soros machines can be calibrated to give Trump votes a fraction of one whole vote, and only report non fraction results.

        This must be investigated.

  4. Scott Scarborough says:

Clinton got the popular vote. Trump got the popular, living, vote.

    • Nicholas Schroeder says:

The electoral college was created to keep the idiots and morons and mobs of “real” democracy away from power. The US is a representative republic, not a democracy. HS civics class.

    • RAH says:

We’ll have to see on the popular vote. They simply all aren’t counted yet. I hope it turns out that Trump got it, no matter how small the margin. It will take some wind out of the sails of the zombies.

      • Gail Combs says:

I hope that Trump and his allies look into voter fraud.

For example here in North Carolina the republican won the Lt. gov but a Democrat won gov. A closer look found a LOT of ballots marked ONLY for Hillary and the Democratic governor candidate AND NO ONE ELSE. That stinks of fraud.

Bev Harris on an Alex Jones vid noted that the election was not called for HOURS pass the time it should have been because the DemonRats were trying to rig the election in certain cities. However they were limited by the overwhelming support for Trump diffused over a wide area and flipping votes in Democratic cities was just not enough so the Monster Vote from Flyover Country really did overwhelm the fraud.

With Trump and Roger Stone and 1,000 lawyers scrutinizing the voting they just did not dare have 150% of the population of a city vote for Hillary.

      • Bytor says:

With Michigan counted, Trump won the popular vote by about 200,000 votes.

The media has (and still is) refraining from “calling” that State, purposefully to help incite the protests and riots. They want to continue perpetrating the false narrative that Clinton won the popular vote, and therefore she must be the more popular candidate and thereby invalidating Trump’s election victory.

It won’t work for much longer however, since Trump did indeed win the popular vote as well!

    • Bytor says:

Actually that is incorrect. With Michigan now counted, Trump actually won the popular vote as well, by about 200,000 votes (very slim margin).

  5. Andy DC says:

Ideology does not apply completely in this case. It is more a matter that Trump is shifting the Government from clueless, corrupt and wasteful to competent and efficient.

    • Latitude says:

Andy…I think Trump’s the first republican candidate..since Reagan
..that people thought would actually do what he said he would do

      That’s why I think he won…

    • Neal S says:

And as far as I am concerned … Trump IS the third party candidate. And THAT is why he won. While Trump is more closely aligned with stated Republican party platform, many of us know what a disappointment the RINO’s have been. And as far as most of the Republican representatives are RINO’s, Trump really is no Republican. And this is something to be glad of. Such an amazing opportunity. Wow. I think we need to threaten all Republican representatives, that if they do NOT support Trump in the next couple of years, we will see that they get replaced with people who WILL support Trump.

      • Latitude says:

        ….damn straight!

      • Gail Combs says:

        AGREED!

Now is the time to get on the phone, and e-mail and fax your Congressman and Senators and make it very very clear we are AWAKE NOW and watching their every move. Any Progressive crap and giving Trump a hard time and we will oust their asses.

Supposedly RINO RAT Paul Ryan is running for Speaker of the house unopposed however that is not true.

The Speaker DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A CONGRESSMAN!

Paul Nehlen Announces Challenge to Paul Ryan for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives

Paul Nehlen is another Businessman who clawed his way up. His loss against Ryan is a wee bit suspect BTW.

      • gregole says:

And to think back there was a time early on when it looked like Jeb Bush was going to be the republican candidate. I remember the topic of Syrian refugees came up and Jeb claimed we would thoroughly “vet” them. Uh huh. Just like now in England 35 year old men are showing up having been vetted as “children”. What a joke. I realized he was just another globalist stooge. Thankfully, shortly thereafter Trump annihilated his chances. Thank God, knowing what we now know about the Dems…

        • Gail Combs says:

Yes we were supposed to have a ‘choice’ between Corrupt Hill or globalist Jeb the Twig.

We now know we have had nothing but globalists in office since Reagan.

We need to rename the parties the Globalist Party and the Patriot Party and then reshuffle the politicians to under the correct label. Unfortunately you would only have a half dozen under the Patriot Party.

  6. Brad says:

That map can’t be real. It is impossible for San Francisco to be more left.

    • Nicholas Schroeder says:

      Maybe a seismic shift.

    • Bytor says:

I don’t think you get it .. while San Francisco is extremely left, they actually shifted slightly to the right. That doesn’t mean they are no longer left, it only means they are not as left as they have been, strictly according to the election results, nothing more. Ideologically speaking, I am doubting that San Francisco has actually moved to the right at all, just that more of the people that are on the right came out to vote in that region.

  7. KTM says:

Really, Tony? I’m a moron/Mormon from Utah. I voted for trump just like over half the state. Hillary nearly finished in 3rd place behind a nobody.

In 1992 while all the rest of the country was electing Bill, he finished 3rd in Utah behind bush and perot, the only state to do so.

You started disappearing my comments months ago just because I want gripped with the same passion about trump as you, and I’m still under auto moderation.

I like your blog and I think what you have done with climate issues is brilliant, but if this same boorish behavior toward your own allies is going to continue, then why bother?

    • Gail Combs says:

Vulture Capitalist/Globalist** Mitt Romney and his buddies were trying to undermine Trump despite Trump supporting Mitt with $$$ and even doing phone calling for him in the last election.

This has nothing to do with religion except for the globalist trying to use a Mormon to take a state and possibly the election away from Trump.

This election has truly been an eye opener as the rocks have been over turned and we see all the nasty corruption lurking beneath the surface.

**Remember Romney was the sole share holder and head of Bain for a time. Mitt Romney’s firm has partnered with Goldman Sachs on business deals. Mitt Romney is all for Agenda 21 and not US Sovereignty. This is why he turned against Trump so viciously.

      • KTM says:

Romney derangement syndrome. You act like trump was Mr nice guy during the primaries. He wasn’t, he was horrible to his republican opponents. So Romney was horrible back, so what?

It’s water under the bridge, except for those gripped by this deranged obsession with trump.

We voted for trump, he won, you’re welcome. Now get over yourself.

      • KTM says:

We voted for Trump, he won, you’re welcome.

Except you’re not satisfied. You are so gripped with this deranged obsession with Trump that any perceived slight (ONLY winning by 30% in Utah -gasp-) is grounds for personal attacks, insults, and boorish behavior.

Yes Romney unloaded on Trump during the primary. Trump started it, he had the entire Republican field rolling in the mud. SO WHAT? That’s water under the bridge, except for certain deranged Trump supporters.

Trump isn’t perfect, not even close. He was a major reason that this was the most demeaning election in recent history. And the rightward shift of the country had more to do with the Democrats trying to anoint the most corrupt and despicable person available. Some voters were true believers, sure. But a whole lot of Republicans voted against Hillary in the only meaningful way available, which was Trump.

Again, you’re welcome. It was a group effort, and if you think attacking millions of people who think Trump is very flawed but voted for him anyway is going to help him accomplish anything once he’s in office, I don’t think you get it.

    • Bytor says:

KTM, you have to be careful of which buttons you push with Tony. He has a history of banning you when you oppose his point of view in just the right way (as I have done in the past myself). This comment reply may just get me kicked into that bucket again too.

Unfortunately, Tony has a history of an evolving ego. I have been actively reading his blog since practically the day he started it (a very long time now), and I have watched this transformation. Sadly, he doesn’t seem to see it, or he simply doesn’t care.

I very much value (more than Tony realizes) his contributions to the climate discussions and certainly his exposure of the corruption within our so-called “scientific” institutions. He has been absolutely invaluable in this regard. I even value some of his political points of view, and believe that fundamentally Tony is a good and principled man. With that said however, he has definitely developed a bit of an ego issue.

Hint: don’t get into a GHE discussion with him. He can be as bad as the worst AGW advocates out there.

    • David A says:

KTM, thank you for bothering. T H is human and just pissed at Romney and Beck.

      • Bytor says:

Granted, but if I were writing a blog that is read by thousands of people the world over, I might be so inclined to refrain from hyperbolic terminology that is certain to alienate, insult and piss off a percentage portion of his supporting readership … don’t ya think?

Sorry, I’m with KTM on this one. TH’s tact and terminology of this particular post does him and his blog (and readers) a great disservice, in my view. I don’t like it because I have a vested interest in the success of this blog, and such I feel these things serve to legitimize this blog, something I do not wish to see.

  8. Nicholas Schroeder says:

The rust belt basket of deplorables really stands out.

  9. Gail Combs says:

The Shift to more Democrat is probably where most of the Voter fraud occurred. Hillary just was not as popular as Obummer. She has the personality of a dead fish as her sparse turnout for rallies showed.

  10. Scott Tucker says:

Religious bigotry is beneath you, Tony. I thought you knew better than to insult those who have financially supported you.

    • Bytor says:

I am in agreement with you, and I am not a religious individual. Bigotry on any level is simply intolerable in my view.

    • Latitude says:

It’s a joke…go to your safe place..and don’t come out until you find a sense of humor

      • Bytor says:

Joke or not, it does a great disservice to TH and this blog by engaging in such hyperbole. He could have used a different tact and prevent a perceived appearance of bigotry, IMHO.

    The democrats, have been pandering to, it seemed to us, everybody but us. Everybody but American citizens. Everybody seemed more important than us;
The muslims became the focus, not the American citizens who were hurt by them.
The illegals, not the citizens who pay for their children to be fed and educated.
The college kids and their never ending temper tantrums.
Or how about here in New York [City], the inequality. That’s an important thing, but so is the middle class worker bees, who pay for them. The democrats didn’t put America first. We were like way down on the list, and we know that we are the ones who make this ship sail. It became dehumanizing. People literally hate democrats now, and I live in new york. Older people in the fifities cant wait to retire and leave. The last 8 years have changed so much of what used to be. too much, too fast. They overplayed their hand on so many topics:
    Immigration
The lgbt community with the boys in the girls locker room
Only ever talking about the rich and the poor.
We got nothing, literally nothing for 8 years we are done.

We were gettable because BOTH parties abandoned us. The Democrats took our paychecks to redistribute to their pet groups, while the Republicans shipped our jobs overseas in order to pay for their summer homes. Democrats called us racists and uneducated hicks 24/7, and mocked us while they watched their “people of Wal-Mart” videos. I think that map just shows relative swings, not wins. For instance, Washington County, UT–way down in the southwest corner–is showing a blue arrow but Trump won the county. St. George is the largest city in WashCo and its weather is similar to Las Vegas, but it’s very white with a resulting very low violent crime rate. So lots of Californians are moving there and voting Democratic. Can’t blame the Mormons for that. This is the kind of place those Californians are buying:

New York Times publisher vows to ‘rededicate’ paper to reporting honestly

The publisher of The New York Times penned a letter to readers Friday promising that the paper would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election while rededicating itself to reporting on “America and the world” honestly.

Arthur O. Sulzberger Jr., the paper’s embattled publisher, appealed to Times readers for their continued support.

“We cannot deliver the independent, original journalism for which we are known without the loyalty of our subscribers,” the letter states.

It seems that MI and NH are not being called officially because they are so close (within 0.5%) that auto recount kicks in. So until they do that, results are not going to be official. But what got me was how close my state of MN was to going for Trump. Hillary won by small 1.5%, and my county here in NE MN was 150 votes shy of going Trump out of 6400 ballots cast. NE MN is Dem country because of the unions and folks just being staunch generational Dems. Trump’s trade talk resonated with some of the union members here.
