I was think more of Dante’s Ninth circle, the nastiest portion of Hades that is reserved for traitors. It is going to be awfully crowded in there after the next 50 or 60 years.

  6. Gail Combs says:

It occurs to me that during Obama’s entire time as occupier of the White House he has been gaslighting the entire nation with ample help from the MSM.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse used by narcissists in order to instill in their victim’s an extreme sense of anxiety and confusion to the point where they no longer trust their own memory, perception or judgment. The techniques used in “Gaslighting” by the narcissist are similar to those used in brainwashing, interrogation, and torture that have been used in psychological warfare by intelligence operative, law enforcement and other forces for decades.

The intention is to, in a systematic way, target the victim’s mental equilibrium, self confidence, and self esteem so that they are no longer able to function in an independent way. Gaslighting involves the abuser to frequently and systematically withhold factual information from the victim, and replacing it with false information. Because of it’s subtly, this cunning Machiavellian behaviour is a deeply insidious set of manipulations that is difficult for anybody to work out, and with time it finally undermines the mental stability of the victim. That is why it is such a dangerous form of abuse. The emotional damage of Gaslighting is huge on the narcissistic victim. When they are exposed to it for long enough, they begin to lose their sense of their own self. Unable to trust their own judgments, they start to question the reality of everything in their life. They begin to find themselves second-guessing themselves, and this makes them become very insecure around their decision making, even around the smallest of choices. The victim becomes depressed and withdrawn, they become totally dependent on the abuser for their sense of reality. In effect the gaslighting turns the victim’s reality on its head….

Sure sounds like the last seven years doesn’t it?

Remember rather early on Obama had earned the label narcissist. Eric Fromm, had diagnosed both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin as malignant narcissists.

    Obama’s Dangerous Narcissism
Barack Obama won’t listen to anyone and as the world falls into chaos and disorder, he can’t see reality because he is a narcissist who only cares about fundamentally transforming the United States.

Obama has half the nation on government entitlements/subsidies/payouts…

He has divided and paid off innumerable constituencies….

There is no foreign policy and no strategy to deal with real threats to the country and to our allies.

He doesn’t care what anyone thinks and he holds people in no particular regard. He has zero empathy.

Former aide to Barack Obama, Neera Tanden, once indicated that Barack Obama doesn’t like people – any people….

“People say the reason Obama wouldn’t call Clinton is because he doesn’t like him,” observes Tanden. “The truth is, Obama doesn’t call anyone, and he’s not close to almost anyone. It’s stunning that he’s in politics, because he really doesn’t like people…

Dr. Sam Vaknin, a world authority on narcissism and the author of the Malignant Self Love, says, “Barack Obama is a narcissist.”
…Vaknin came to the conclusion after examining Obama’s posture, language, demeanor, and testimony of those closest to Obama.

“Narcissistic leaders are nefarious and their effects pernicious. They are subtle, refined, socially-adept, manipulative, possessed of thespian skills, and convincing. Both types [cerebral and somatic] equally lack empathy and are ruthless and relentless or driven.”…As for his ruthlessness, perhaps his support of legislation to let babies die if they survive abortion, gives a glimps into his soul, that he may lacks empathy, does not value life, and if in the position of power can be ruthless. Narcissists need power to show their ruthlessness. Considering the fact that Obama neglected his own half brother, George Hussein Obama, who lives on one dollar per month in Kenya, we can’t vouch for Obama’s empathy or say he is a caring person

Narcissim has degrees. When it is extreme it shows in the posture and the way the narcissist walks and talks. Obama’s posture, exudes haughtiness. He is all puffery, Vaknin says.

The evidence Vaknin presented at the time he made his statements has only made his analysis seem more accurate.

A narcisissist ‘subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and “ideals” (e.g., about campaign finance, re-districting), according to Vaknin. These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, refuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy,’ Vaknin said….

Its Official: Obama Diagnosed with Narcissistic & Sociopathic Personality Disorders by World Leading Experts

Gaslighting can be incredibly harmful to the victim and can literally drive a strong sane person insane. Especially when we have the MSM and others backing up the false reality projected by Obama.

Thank goodness for sites like Tony’s that help to keep us sane!

    • Latitude says:

I just figured he’s psychopath or sociopath

    • Leon Brozyna says:

That is so depressing … I need a stiff drink.

Then again, the worst is over … all that’s left are Executive Orders and if Trump gets in, that can be quickly fixed and hopefully, with enough business experience brought on board he can rein in his bureaucrats. He may not bring in much “ideological purity” but after Obooboo, it’ll be like going from a funeral home to a joyous celebration of life.

    • Jason Calley says:

Here is a quote attributed to William Casey, CIA Director 1981-1987 “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”

There has been argument over whether the quote is real, but Barbara Honegger, Reagan era Whitehouse policy analyst says, “I am the source for this quote, which was indeed said by CIA Director William Casey at an early February 1981 meeting of the newly elected President Reagan with his new cabinet secretaries to report to him on what they had learned about their agencies in the first couple of weeks of the administration. The meeting was in the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the White House, not far from the Cabinet Room. I was present at the meeting as Assistant to the chief domestic policy adviser to the President. Casey first told Reagan that he had been astonished to discover that over 80 percent of the ‘intelligence’ that the analysis side of the CIA produced was based on open public sources like newspapers and magazines. As he did to all the other secretaries of their departments and agencies, Reagan asked what he saw as his goal as director for the CIA, to which he replied with this quote, which I recorded in my notes of the meeting as he said it. Shortly thereafter I told Senior White House correspondent Sarah McClendon, who was a close friend and colleague, who in turn made it public.”

I am sure (and all my historical readings confirm) that there has never been a time when the US federal government practiced 100% honesty and transparency — but I have little doubt that there have certainly been periods of more honesty or less honesty. Sadly, I think that since Edward Bernays (let’s say since the Wilson administration) the decadal trend has been monotonic toward less honesty.

  7. I think we have nothing to worry about from the Moslems. They are not the cause of the real problem, which is the warming of the water at the bottom of the ocean.

  8. Andy DC says:

Even if Obama did not try to save those men, it would mean nothing compared to sparing the world from another .2 degrees of warming. (sarc)
