First Half Of August Was Seventh Coolest On Record In The US

Maximum temperatures from August 1 to August 15 averaged seventh coolest on record in the US, down eight degrees since 1936. Note that 2004 and 2013 were also in the bottom seven. All of the ten hottest years were below 350 PPM CO2.
