In order to determine if 2012 was warmer than 1934, the last four days of the year are critical.
Of the 821 GHCN HCN stations continuously active since 1920, only 27 have any data for those days, and only 3 have complete data. By contrast, all 821 have January 2013 data.
The last four days of 2012 were very cold. How did NOAA determine the 2012 temperature to .01 degrees, when they are missing 1% of the data which averaged at least five degrees below normal?
Answer : corrupt junk science seance.
The scientific bottom line (I’m speaking as a physicist, for those who don’t know me by now) is that the whole process is garbage, and this little “mystery” of the last 4 days of 2012 just underlines that fact. It has no objective meaning whatsoever, except to show climate scientists as totally inept, deluded, and dishonest. Think of it as an episode of “World’s Dumbest Criminals,” and you will understand just how bad the situation is in climate science (all–all–of our supposedly authoritative institutions have been suborned by an incompetent consensus).
We can’t let four little days get in the way of a great scam, can we?
In light of the fact that all 821 locations reported in January, it would be interesting to see how December reporting correlates with temperature (if at all). Thus, identify the location of those stations from December that 1) did not report data (In colder or the coldest locations, perhaps?), 2) have partial data (in termperature-neutral locations?), and 3) have complete data (in warmer locations?). Would this information add to unveiling the scam of calling 2012 the hottest year?
Thanks to blogs like this one and a host of others the younger crowd is begining to understand the scam that is being laid on them . The global warming crowd has made a mockery of science .

NOAA needs to be interviewed by Oprah and come clean about the hallucinogens they’ve been taking.
