In a lecture in PANAJI India
Pachauri noted that there had been a “70% increase in global greenhouse gas emissions due to human activities from 1970 and 2004 while carbon dioxide annual emissions had gone up by about 80% between the same time period.”
He stated that “continued emissions would lead to further warming over the 21st century,” while observing that the best estimate that had been arrived at was between 1.8 degrees Celsius and 4 degrees Celsius…”

Delhi records season coldest day on January 1 2013
The Capital recorded the season’s lowest temperature – 4 degrees Celsius – on New Year’s Day on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The temperature, recorded on Tuesday, was three notches below average, said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The climate debate is so incompetent that no honest scientist can be found to tell mainstream media journalists — and through them, the public — that it is not the human-created CO2 “emissions” that count in the consensus climate theory, it is the level (concentration) of CO2 in the atmosphere. And that level has only increased by about 11% since 1990, as I commented at wuwt a month ago.
