Does that say “180” dynamite sticks?!? Wow!
Reading further down the article, it says it was a “90 pound charge.” That’d be about 270 sticks. Either way, it’s one whale of a bomb.
The article says, “Had the youngsters been successful in their plan, police said, the boys would have been killed and every building leveled within four blocks of the school.”
Phillipsburg is not far from State College. I guess that area has a long history of problems related to young boys. But Jerry Sandusky was only 5 then, so I doubt he had anything to do with it.
