Denver is a cold place tonight after a couple of OT interceptions, but it is 5-10 degrees warmer than the rural areas outside of the city.

People must be deflated in Denver tonight. They had the game locked up. But, then a safety went to sleep in the final seconds of regulation. Sad really.

It really is an “Island” of heat, surrounded by cooler seas.
That map really does show it well.
It is not uncommon for me to have a 10F cooler temp than the metro area near me, in fact it happened again this past week. Normally it is around 3-6F warmer in the city than my little piece of Heaven. And as Hillary said, it takes a village to raise an idiot, but it does not take a village to raise a temperature.
