    One really has to wonder how they came up with their figures: Totten Glacier is only 2048 sq km. For 7 metres of sea-level rise* it’d have to be over 1200 km deep for its entire area.

    *Total sea surface area is 361,000,000 sq km. That’s not accounting for the fact that as sea-level rises, the surface area increases.
