A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

More people died in one day at the Battle of Antietam on September 17, 1862 than did during the entire Revolutionary War. It was the bloodiest day in US history. There was one casualty every second during that battle, which went on all day.

This battle was the first time photographers took pictures of the dead. This shocked the public and led to a change in the public’s attitude about war.

These men died to stop slavery. Michelle Obama said that nothing good ever happened in America before her and her crooked husband came along, and that she hated waking up in a house built by slaves. She doesn’t have to do that anymore, and we are all grateful.
