Differentiating Between Man-Made And Natural Climate Change

In science, consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.

Natural climate change produces ten degree swings in Antarctic temperature.

New Antarctic Ice Core Data

Man-made global warming produces zero degree swings in Antarctic temperature.

RSS / MSU and AMSU Data / Time Series Trend Browser

Between 97 and 100% of experts agree that the 0C swing in temperature observed by satellites, is both unprecedented and man-made.

Antarctic Ice Core Data – just look at all those hockey sticks!

  2. CO2isLife says:

Yep, the CO2 signature would be warming at the S Pole where the impact of CO2 is isolated by removing H20 from the air.
    Antarctica isn’t warming
Antarctica isn’t warming, but the Oceans are
Atmospheric Temperatures follow ocean temperatures, not atmospheric CO2.

Another day, another report of a spotless solar disc

“INFO FROM SIDC – RWC BELGIUM 2017 Mar 10 12:30UTC

Solar activity was very low. There are currently no sunspot regions on the
visible solar hemisphere. No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs)
were observed in available coronagraphic imagery. The greater than 10MeV
proton flux was at nominal levels.”

The month started out right at the level of the SC projections:

Quiet flaring conditions are expected to continue.

Earth seems to be gradually exiting the high speed stream (HSS) from the
negative polarity coronal hole (CH). Solar wind speed declined from its
initial 530 km/s to 480 km/s. Bz fluctuated between -6 nT and +4 nT, being
predominantly negative starting around 0600UT. The interplanetary magnetic
field was mostly directed towards the Sun.

The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels. Mostly quiet to
unsettled conditions are expected, with still a chance on an active

  4. Gail Combs says:

Surprising how those high CO2 levels always happened just before the temperatures fell of the cliff.

OH MY GOODNESS, High CO2 causes ICE AGES!

          • RAH says:

Women can be far more dangerous than most men ever thought about being. Most don’t forgive and none forget, and many are just smart enough and nasty enough to wait their opportunity to slip the knife in at the moment you least expect it. It’s not the ones that yell and throw things that one needs to be wary of.

The dispatch office where I work is a prime example. There are some very nice and good women there but some of them cause more problems with their mouths and lies than any of the males that work there. I’ve been married for 32 1/2 years and never been unfaithful. But twice in the nearly ten years I’ve been there had stories circulated that I was boffing someone or other at work. My favorite dispatcher was a married woman and we joked and kidded each other all the time. She was run off by a clique lying on her. I’ve had female dispatchers call me to go out when it wasn’t my turn to go simply because they didn’t like me or in one case because I ignored and then deflected the advances of one of them.

          • Colorado Wellington says:

True. The hysterical ones are anything from hilarious to annoying but they are usually not dangerous beyond the moment. I’ve had a group of educated, higher-class women turn against me in a local dispute some years back. In the end the open hostilities subsided but their reaction to the underlying issues was completely irrational and in the end I accepted the fact I will never know what it was actually about. As bad as it was, what they did or tried to do to me pales in comparison with the nastiness I’ve seen women do to each other in various workplaces. I was still a boy when my mother told me that men rarely do to each other what she knew women do to other women, something I had many opportunities to watch close up later in my life.

          • Gail Combs says:

You got it. Women can be very nasty back stabbers when it comes to office politics. Give me an up front in your face guy any day of the week.

That is why I could not stand Hillary. She rang the back stabber bell as soon as I first saw her. A girl friend of mine said the same thing. (She hunts and fishes BTW We have GOT to make some time to go fishing real soon.)

      Speaking of ice ages…

So once again Cook found that CAGW believers believe in CAGW, and that nonbelievers don’t. Fascinating.

  6. Steve Case says:

Yeah Tony, regarding your 1980 => 2017 Southern Polar 70S / 60S Temperature graph, CBS news a few days ago ran a segment on Killer Whales in the Southern Ocean and showed a whale that was old skinny and at death’s door and then intoned that the whale was in such bad shape because Antarctica was warming.

The exaggeration bullshit and lies never stops from the likes of Scott Pelley and the other talking heads that make up the so-called mainstream media.

    • Gail Combs says:

Now the Urinalists are really getting nasty…
Gateway Pundit Reporter ACCOSTED, HARASSED — Screamed At in White House Press Room: “Nazi… White Supremacist!”

      Lucian Wintrich sent this report:

“This man accosted me. He pushed me in the back room and then grabbed my arm. He started screaming to the entire press room that I’m a Nazi and The Gateway Pundit is a white supremacist publication.”

The Gateway Pundit reporter is gay and considering filing charges. I certainly hope he does. It will be instructive to see what White House Urinalists tell the truth and who lie to cover up for FOX radio Jon Decker. There were two assaults reported by Lucian.

“Jon Decker is a board member of the White House Press room… “

I hope there are surveillance cameras in that room and Jon Decker gets his rear tossed out PERMANENTLY if this is true.

You know darn well when they don’t have any real news to report they won’t get off their lazy asses and go out and find some or do any real investigation or research. Instead they’ll just make something up from whole cloth. Bias is only problem. The other part is just plain laziness. Very little real journalism is done anymore.

      • Gail Combs says:

Real journalism is done. It is just not done by the regular big corporation news organizations. They know it and that is why they hate reporters like the guy from Pundit.

  7. Latitude says:

    but but…….Sweden

No new police station in Rinkeby – no one dares build it

There will be no new police station in the troubled immigrant suburb of Rinkeby in the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Not right now anyway. The reason: no construction company dares to build it.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

Look at the bright side. The Swedes can draw on the experience of the U.S. military in patrolling hostile urban environments in Iraq. They should also identify the strongest local tribes and support a coalition of suburban immigrant militias. General Petraeus may be available to work on their civil war strategy as a consultant.

The Swedes have to accept they lost sovereignty in certain southern parts of the Scandinavian Peninsula but who says there could not be a Rinkeby Awakening among local Muslims resulting in the creation of functioning tribal governments in this Stockholm suburb and other parts of the country?

One thing is certain: Based on his experience, General Petraeus would reject the acclaimed Nobel Peace Prize-winning war strategy of the Obama Associates think tank and strongly urge the Swedes to not pull out of Sweden.

  8. Billyjack says:

You know that Global Warming “science” is a faith based system, when an untested hypothesis supposedly gets a 97% agreement. I doubt you could get that much agreement if a group of Evangelicals were polled about the Virgin birth.

    • RAH says:

In the real world I don’t think you couldn’t ever get 97% of people to agree about anything.

      • Colorado Wellington says:

Not sure about that, RAH. Polling at one of the Women’s Marches whether Trump is “literally Hitler” may get you only 95% because a few English teachers will hesitate, but asking whether American women are oppressed by society will get you a perfect 100%.

Every single one would also swear to you they are the real world, with fellow marchers elbowing their way in and shouting over each other they are more real then the woman you just interviewed.

        • RAH says:

Well, if that’s the real world then it’s time for me to go to another one.

          • Gail Combs says:

Luckily they are actually only PAID street theatre. Most protesters asked about more complicate matters have ZERO idea of why they are protesting.

Just remember what happened to Ivanka’s products, Chick-fil-A and L.L. Bean vs what happened to Target, Macys and Kellogg.

The Ctr-Left are loud mouth parasites while the Alt-Right work and vote with their wallets.

With companies boycotting Breitbart and Gateway Pundit they may find that out the hard way.

Breitbart ‘loses advertising deals’ with more than 1,000 companies

            46 U.S. companies join anti-Trump Breitbart blacklist

Just in case you were not aware this is actually a civil war of International Corporations vs Main Street Workers.

This article from June of 20q6 makes that clear.
It’s Time for the Elites to Rise Up Against the Ignorant Masses

…One of the most brazen features of the Brexit vote was the utter repudiation of the bankers and economists and Western heads of state who warned voters against the dangers of a split with the European Union. British Prime Minister David Cameron thought that voters would defer to the near-universal opinion of experts; that only shows how utterly he misjudged his own people….

If Donald Trump loses, and loses badly (forgive me my reckless optimism, but I believe he will) the Republican Party may endure a historic split between its know-nothing base and its K Street/Chamber of Commerce leadership class.…

It’s not hard to imagine the Republican Party in the United States — and perhaps the British Conservatives should Brexit go terribly wrong — losing control of the angry, nationalist rank and file and reconstituting themselves as the kind of Main Street, pro-business parties they were a generation ago, before their ideological zeal led them into a blind alley….

The issue, at bottom, is globalization. …political elites have misjudged the depth of the anger at global forces and thus the demand that someone, somehow, restore the status quo ante. It may seem strange that the reaction has come today rather than immediately after the economic crisis of 2008, but the ebbing of the crisis has led to a new sense of stagnation. With prospects of flat growth in Europe and minimal income growth in the United States, voters are rebelling against their dismal long-term prospects. And globalization means culture as well as economics: Older people whose familiar world is vanishing beneath a welter of foreign tongues and multicultural celebrations are waving their fists at cosmopolitan elites….

Donald Trump has, of course, set a new standard for disingenuousness and catering to voters’ fears, whether over immigration or foreign trade or anything else he can think of. The Republican Party, already rife with science-deniers and economic reality-deniers, has thrown itself into the embrace of a man who fabricates realities that ignorant people like to inhabit.

Did I say “ignorant”? Yes, I did. It is necessary to say that people are deluded and that the task of leadership is to un-delude them. Is that “elitist”? Maybe it is; maybe we have become so inclined to celebrate the authenticity of all personal conviction that it is now elitist to believe in reason, expertise, and the lessons of history. If so, the party of accepting reality must be prepared to take on the party of denying reality, and its enablers among those who know better. If that is the coming realignment, we should embrace it.

“If so, the party of accepting reality must be prepared to take on the party of denying reality, and its enablers among those who know better. If that is the coming realignment, we should embrace it.
From what I can see they are NOT embracing it, they are fighting it with everything they have.

However once people awaken they do not going to go back to sleep and we ARE the majority no matter how much the elite try to spin that reality.

Note the information this guy lets slip. voters are rebelling against their dismal long-term prospects. And globalization means culture as well as economics: GEE who would have thunk voters just might notice and rebell against getting screwed by the elite?

Quiet flaring conditions are expected to continue.

Solar wind speed increased slightly from 380 km/s to 420 km/s at midnight,
and has been steady since. Somewhat enhanced density (10/cm3) and negative
Bz (up to -6 nT) were observed around midnight. Bz fluctuated between -6 nT
and +2 nT, being mostly negative. The interplanetary magnetic field was
mostly directed towards the Sun, with a brief positive interval (away)
    during the 21-24UT interval.

The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels (NOAA Kp). Mostly quiet
to unsettled conditions are expected, until the arrival of the particle
stream from the northern polar coronal hole extension expected for 13-14
March, which may result in active episodes.”

  11. CO2isLife says:

Long term thermometer data shows no warming at all. Almost all the warming is due to “adjustments,” station location/relocation and the “Urban Heat Island Effect.” Temperature data shows no warming.
