The last two years, we have had several record early season snowfalls in the eastern US. No one can ever convince me that multiple out of season snowfalls with afternoon temperatures approaching 30 degrees below normal can even indirectly be related to a warming planet.
Global warming makes cold colder, and wet wetter. Last November had near-perfect weather on the east coast, and that was a sure sign of catastrophic global warming.

The heat is hiding, from Trenberth, and this leaves only cold weather to be observed. Until it’s hot again. Brrrr.

Those poor Eastern US states hit by Sandy are experiencing a true Earth day .A week plus long living in the dark,cold,no gas ,water, electricity ,transportation, no food ,a Week Plus of No carbon emission. And yes, I’m one of those poor Northeasterners still without power. Over a week and counting. So yes, in my view, I’ve met my Earth Day celebration requirements for the rest of my life.

After the 6th coldest October in the last 100 years, Calgary is currently experiencing temperatures in the double digits under the “normal” and is forecasting -12C (about 10F) for the football game Sunday.
