15 Aug 1930 – THE DROUGHT IN U.S.A. CRITICAL CONDITIONS CONTIN…
Between 1953 and 1955, 7 hurricanes hit between South Carolina and New England.
In May/June 1953, there were tornado disasters in three major cities-Waco, Texas/Flint, Michigan/Worcester, Massachusetts. Each killed 90+ people.
In early November 1953, a “superstorm” landfalling near NYC brought 20+ inches of snow to Pennsylvania and wind gusts of 98 mph along the New England coast. That was only 3 years after the November 1950 “superstorm” that brought 108 mph gusts at Newark, New Jersey and up to 57 inches of snow in West Virginia.
During the extreme hot summer of 1954, St. Louis reached 115 degrees.
Weather happens. Anyone that believes that man can do anything about it is delusional.
