Obama was warned repeatedly over the last four years that appeasement and apology would be interpreted as weakness, but he is too much of a jackass to listen to anyone who knows what they are talking about.

The awarding of a peace prize to a person who has authorized more drone killings in a few years of relative peace than Bush did in 8 years of the war on terror seems a bit incongrous to me.
Obama’s actions in this as well as the seeming intent of his Homeland Security purchases make a complete mockery of the Nobel institution.
How it has any dignity or credibility left after Obama’s, Gore’s and the IPCC awards is beyond me.
Norway is dominated by socialists these days and, consequently, so is the Nobel committee. It was not always so. Alfred Nobel became the richest man in the world through supplying explosives and ammunition for the many 19th century wars. At some stage he had an epiphany and decided to set up the Nobel Foundation specifically for peace, science and medicine (things that benefit people). These days the Foundation (and Obama too) is a political tool of the totalitarians as evidenced by whom they award prizes too.
The Nobel prize for Economics is from the Central Bank of Sweden, not the Nobel Foundation. The Bank purchased the use of the name from the foundation. It shows how far the foundation have strayed from Alfred’s original ideal.

You’ve got it. Have spoken about similar issues about the Nobel and it’s socialist agenda when determing who gets peace prizes, etc.
Of course to to some of the Liberal retards its an evil sin to critize those who get awarded Nobel peaces prizes, often of a similar political persuasion and their actions didn’t really deserve them being awarded one. I’ve pointed out that a good percentage of individuals who’re awarded the Nobel peace price often are supporters of a One World Govt (dictatorship) or are themselves Club of Rome members!
That’s why Alfred Nobel created it because of his invention and how it was misused.
I wonder, if he was alive today, what would he do about the misuse of his creation of the Nobel Prize?
2012 Nobel Peace Prize was given to the European Union.
That makes as much sense as awarding an Olympic Gold Medal to a rubber chicken.

“Reduction of Standing Armies” – Obama struck out there and now he is building up the DHS. So how did Obama get the Peace Prize?? Was a quid pro quo of some kind offered to the Nobel Committee? If real investigative journalism still existed, there would be a story there. But uncovering corruption is now deemed racist.

You are taught not to lie, and it stands to reason that in this area of human behaviors, rulers are as averse to the rules imposed on you as any other. As eager as rulers are to steal and murder, they are equally eager to lie to their people to get what they want.
