The permanent drought continues in Colorado.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

This is odd. I know that American football is often played in the snow, as in Green Bay. But I’ve never seen soccer played in the snow. I don’t know how usual this is.
I’ve never seen anything like the conditions in this match. Costa Rica played amazingly well for a country with no snow,
It seems kind of freaky, and not consistent with global warming hypothesis. Here, in spring, soccer and snow. Here’s a good link to use if you want to make an argument or point, with a -great- picture of the snowy action. Check it out: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/more-sports/u-s-wins-soccer-snow-bowl-article-1.1297044
That was a sight to behold. Did Algore throw out the first pitch?
if ya mean a white soccer pitch…. Probably! 😆
They should have had oil drums filled with burning pitch to warm up the ;p;playing pitch while Algore threw out the first pitch after pitching his Glow Bull Worming scam to a snow-covered, freezing audience. (Ain’t the English language grand?) 😀
Yellow ball, yellow ball, yellow ball,
Yellow ball, yellow ball, yellow BALL!
The chant would go up when there was snow at a match and a yellow ball produced for better visibility. Now they use them anyway in the darker months.
Yep common sight in England in the 70 and early 80s. Yellow ball time. Lead to the long ball game mind as the pitches were that bad, you couldn’t trust and ground pass and had to boot it long ! Cold PDO/AMO……
