The Greenland Country Club is still reeling from being barely above freezing for a couple of hours this summer.
The good news is that tee times are available for Friday, though temperatures in the morning are forecast to be cool and breezy.

I wonder what the ballistics are like for bullets fired in that cold weather ? You know , just in case I have to shoot any gophers I see digging up the snow , er I mean greens , while I’m golfing . And a little off topic but I want to give kudos to Joe B for his call on an early winter . We had two nights of freezing temperatures before November tenth this year . Our normal time for freezing to first hit is the first week of December . It’s a good thing we have been switching to earlier ripening varieties of apples for some time now as the late ones just aren’t making it . I’m glad I paid attention to what Joe had to say .
If you plan to get a tee time, you better remember to take your winter weather golf clothes with you.
