I heard a lifelong resident of Alaska bemoan the lack of deer on a recent hunt. He said that the larger than average snowpack they have seen in recent years, starved many of the deer.

Fairbanks is averaging about 8 degrees F below average for November. Entirely consistent with a warming planet (sarc). But unlike last November, Washington, DC is averaging about 4 degrees F below normal. Also consistent with a warming planet (sarc).
Last November was beautiful in Maryland, and NOAA recorded it is being “extreme weather.”
