Government agencies tell us month after month that the US is rapidly warming and that 2012 is the hottest year ever. Only problem is, the thermometer data they use shows no warming, and show 1921 and 1934 warmer.
The claims are made based on huge systematic “adjustments” which cool the past and warm the present – based very, very loosely on a couple of papers which were written by well know climate alarmists.
Regardless of their belief in the validity of the adjustments (ROFL) these organizations have an obligation to clearly disclose with each graph and each press release, that the raw data show no warming, and that the claimed warming is due to manipulation. If anyone in industry tried such non-disclosure with finances, they would be prosecuted.
Failure to punish bad behavior begets more, and worse, bad behavior. Evil only triumphs when good men do nothing.

they have to have it as the warmest….IPCC report next year…in line with doom and gloom..
Fortunately such ethical behavior is not required as no money is involved. 😉
