I left a comment there, but not sure it will ever show up. Basically I asked them how the Hell a 9000-foot-thick lens of ice, melted in four days. And why no one notices the oceans are 7 meters deeper.
I was polite, of course. But intelligent observation is not what they are about, now, is it?

He believes it because Hansen’s NASA put out a press release saying that “97% of Greenland melted in four days” This crap comes straight from the US government.
If I remember correctly, the press release was misleading and a lot of (stupid) people seemed to think that it did say that the ice had melted.
Presumably that was the intention of the press release.
It was intended to be misleading, and they were successful in their intent.

In order to get a top climate position, having no knowledge or understanding of science is the most important requirement.
This must be part of that initiative making Moslems proud of their contribution to science.
The author, Farrukh Khan, has written a pile of steaming dung.
Being so easily blinded to real science facts, explains a lot about why these people are duped by the lies from their religion of peace.
Common sense is missing.

If the global mean temperature increased by 8/10 of 1% over 100 years(?) I wouldn’t consider this to be a reason to panic.
If he increased his IQ by 0.8 it would probably double it.
I suspect that he is referring to an increase of 0.8 DEGREES compared with “pre-industrial” temperatures (i.e. 1861-90), but of course, that isn’t 0.8%.
I am not sure if you can measure temperature changes in percentages, as you get different figures for different scales, but if you were to use kelvin, starting at absolute zero, the current temp. would be about 288k, so 0.8 degrees would be less than 0.3%.
And that is since 1861-90.
Pakistan succeeds in collecting billions from the US to fight a threat their secret service is keeping alive by it funding with the very same money given to them to combat it. Why should they give up a working scheme just because it is about a different kind of “threat”.
