Social Justice

Social Justice

As soon as I see those words, I know we are dealing with a hate group. People who describe global warming as being as being a crime are simply looking for someone else to vent their hatred at. No one in their right mind believes that we can reduce atmospheric CO2, much less improve the climate by doing so.

None of these social justice creeps are going to personally generate less CO2 than other people – most generate more. They are just looking for someone else to vent their anger at. If they lived in Germany during the 1930s it probably would been the Jews.

    Social Justice is a disease.
It sounds like a socially transmitted VD…
    and it’s treatment resistant.

Talking of hate groups, anyone with a few minutes to spare may like to head over to Current to see the hideous face of climate alarmism.
The resident alarmist, JanforGore, is a serial poster of unsubstantiated doom and gloom who relies heavily upon the likes of Joe Romm for killer quotes. However, some of her own words are also worth a read:

“The more CO2 you place in the atmosphere the more water vapor is amplified thus trapping more infrared rays at the Earth’s surface. This moisture in our atmosphere (now stated as being 4% beyond natural variability) is now affecting the hydrologic cycle by creating more heat, holding more moisture and acting in concert with a changing jet stream due to excessive Arctic (and Greenland) melting to cause stalling fronts that hold weather patterns in place longer that are bringing more frequent and extreme droughts, floods, cold, heatwaves and storms. ” – JanforGore

(4% beyond natural variability) – Looked it up. That’s from a paper by Kevin Trenberth (The Impact of Climate Change and Variability on Heavy Precipitation, Floods, and Droughts – 2007? http://www.cgd.ucar.edu/cas/Trenberth/EHShsa211.pdf )

In the introduction he claims that California had a severe drought in 2007 caused entirely by climate change.
      “An example is the
extreme drought in California in 2007 that set the stage for
the costly extensive wildfires in October 2007, with over
2000 houses burned and about 1 million people displaced. …There is
increasing evidence that human-induced climate change,
“global warming”, is changing the precipitation and the
      hydrological cycles, especially the extremes.”

Thing is I remember the “extreme drought” of 2007. It wasn’t all that extreme. Six inches less than normal precip following a year with eight inches above average rainfall (2006). So our reservoirs were pretty full. There was no water rationing.
Also I remember the fires being due to off shore winds (Santa Ana) in canyon country where no housing should have ever been built, coupled with a few global warming zealots starting fires in order to make at least one of Al Gore’s predictions come true.

Anyhow, I think that paper was superceded by Trenberth’s “missing heat” email.

Dennis Prager … “social justice means left-wing equality”. Just under 3 minutes long, this is the best explanation of “social justice” I have ever heard:

  4. scizzorbill says:

The term ‘Social Justice’ was coined by Karl Marx, and first appeared in The Communist Manifesto

  5. Justa Joe says:

When you hear the term “social justice” in today’s context. It means that you’re going to have to pay somebody usually the people campaigning for “social justice.”

  6. Traitor In Chief says:

It’s identical to mobster criminal mentality: You have more than me. I want to justify my desire to steal it from you, because I’m too lazy to make my own, so I need to demonize your prosperity and accomplishments, and establish myself and my minions as “victims” deserving of what you’ve worked for. These are the foot soldiers; the activists surrounding Wal-Mart. They’re egged on by wealthy tyrants exploiting the mob to destroy their competitors, or feigning support to satisfy their guilt, while quietly evading the very taxes and policies they argue for. See Kerry, John… Gore, Albert…. and Buffett, Warren, for prime examples. Maggots feeding upon society.
