How Many “Top Threats” Do We Have?

The military says that global warming is the top threat to US security. DHS says that veterans and people with Ron Paul bumper stickers are the top threat to US security, and now NSA says that they have to read your E-mail in order to protect you.

U.S. spy chiefs said on March 12 that cyber attacks have supplanted terrorism as the top threat to the country.

    During the height of the terrorism business the Bush administration wanted to listen in on international calls to/from suspected terrorists without a FISA warrant. The press literally went bonkers and actually sued the administartion, which they ultimately lost. We won’t hear a peep out of the press on this one.

    It was under the Bush administration that the NSA started reading email/general internet traffic. Perhaps Obama is pushing for it to be legal?
