IPCC Shock News : All Himalayan Glaciers Gone By 2035

I was shocked to discover that the world’s leading climate body has a bunch of incompetent liars working as their experts.

“The glaciers of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago will undergo a dramatic retreat this century”

    “if warming projections hold true.”

    Another none story.

Arctic Archipelago has been receding for years…
While working up there in 1979(at Eureka), I had the pleasure of a day off and caught a helicopter ride over to Axel Heiberg Is. Big glaciers then, and we landed on the West side where 2 Glaciologists? were studying (remember 1979) the glaciers. We asked them were they advancing or retreating, and they stated retreating rapidly. This was back when we thought we were heading to the next ice age….

      Nothing new…move along…

More recently we have NASA’s SDO cycle 24 prediction, that was a nearly unanimous decision, and very very wrong.

I will name my own experts, thank you.

The “UN Associated Film Festival” made this their “Official Seldction”…

    -Big Oil Funding
    -“Propaganda”
    -Unwarranted Access to Media
    -Koch Brothers
    -“Conspiracy”
    -Corporations Dominate

Not long on science, and that is why it received UN approval.

  4. The real story isn’t that the IPCC made an absurd prediction. It’s not even that the error was pointed out to them before they published but ignored it. Rather it was that Pachauri’s research foundation received a grant to study the non-problem. Ultimately the claim came down to a quote from a pop-science journal, that itself was based on a telephone interview with a researcher. The researcher later denied saying these things over the phone. Doesn’t take much to earn bucks in climate science these days does it?

    • miked1947 says:

The researcher that reported the receding ice worked for TERI! Pachi’s own gang!

      • Yeah but I don’t think he came up with the 2035 prediction. He no doubt cited it as ‘evidence’ for his position though.

        • miked1947 says:

He was the one that released that date in an interview and an article in a magazine that was later used for the IPCC report where he was a contributing author. The first claim was that it was supposed to have been 2305 rather than 2035, but the original interview was 2035. I think it was Dilingpole that found this. Anyhow a news commentator researched this and that is what he came up with.
